Season 1 saw Stanford win their first BCS national championship, edging out unbeaten Nevada. The year was not without controversy, primarily in the form of glitches that changed losses to wins and gave us problems overall. We tentatively step into season 2 while having a file saved should we need to come back and start over after the patch. South Carolina was undefeated late in the season going into a computer game and won that handily, only to have it turned into a loss after the advance. Their other loss was also a glitched game, they technically should have been in the BCS game against either Nevada or Stanford, depending on how the computer factored those two teams' accomplishments. Commentary on Season 1 by JMS Season 1 is FINALLY in the books, lets recap. South Carolina (Blaza) - They were tearing it up when disaster strikes. Coach JMS casts a hex on South Carolina and the evil spell comes to fruition immediately. EA decides to take his score of week 10 vs Arkansas (cpu) and throw that shit out. Undefeated turns into defeated, ARK 24 - USC 20. We can't go back and there goes his chances at glory. So Sorry... Stanford (Hotrod) - Andrew Luck shit the bed against Oregon State (Parrothead) who is tearing through the field. Hotrod goes into depression. Nebraska (mogriffjr) - Huskers lose to Wisconsin (nyjuggalo45) which was sort of an upset. Nebraska then trying to avenge his fallen cousin Blaza loses to Penn State in ugly fashion as the Lions racked up almost 300 yards on the ground. 2 losses for the greatest player eva....unheard of. Utah (maxatax) - They pretty much killed everyone but could not take out Oregon State during the season. Scary team and coach. Lets hope he sucks at recruiting. Ole Miss (Hellisan) - This team was pretty much under the radar but did ok in recruiting. They lost all 3 user games. Very close games to UGA and Miss. State and then blown out vs South Carolina. Hellisan is traditionally a slow starter....enjoy it while it lasts. Miss State (smlvictories) - SML had an amazing recruiting year....but not so much on the field. They were crushed but UGA and USC and also lost a tough one by 1 point to Alabama. The coaching is there but the talent is not. Lets hope the 3 guys he signed this year are total studs! Arizona State (jfosh) - Lets totally forget this year existed Mr Fosh. This was the worst year in his NCAA career. Nuff Said. Why I am always rooting for him though? UGA (riptides) - Thought to be a force, they took a beating to the hands of South Carolina and then had a bad CPU loss vs Florida. They can recruit and will always be tough. Take your wins now before Hellisan learns the game! Wisconsin (nyjuggalo45) - Wisconsin had a tough schedule this year. They barely lost to #1 Oregon State, should have beaten PSU but a disconnect killed their end game momentum which allowed the Lions to regroup and score last. Their one really blemish was the loss to Purdue. Not sure what happened there. They will be a top team each year.....until he quits. Michigan (twister) - on a serious note the Wolverines really signed some nice 5 star recruits. This team will be built to last. I will question the coach though. Some bad CPU losses and some really close cpu wins. I think this guy prefers playing humans rather than EA bots. OK #1 and #2 going into Conference Championships #2 Oregon State (Parrothead) - This guy had an amazing season and beat everyone on the schedule. A rematch vs Utah was a highly anticipated game. Oregon State could not repeat his performance of a few weeks ago and lost on a last second FG. I have a feeling these guys are going to fucking HATE each other by year 3-4. ORST falls off the podium. UT 27 - ORST 24 #1 Penn State (jms) - Winning by solely running the ball like a beast with HBs Green and Redd this team was on the path to glory. Their passing game was in question but no one wanted to talk about that. Nebraska showed up on his schedule AGAIN in the CCG and it was ana ugly one. The Lions run game was shut down and their offense was non existent. NEB 24 - PSU 14. FYI these coach already fucking hate each other going back to Rutgers vs Wisconsin of 2011. Therefore both undefeated teams fall in the final week and what happens???? #4 Stanford sneaks in the #2 spot to play #1 Nevada in the title game.....WTF? Stanford wins in a sim? A sim you say? Yes out fucking dynasty file crashed and no one could play their Bowl games. Thanks EA. We are so happy for you Hotrod... OFFSEASON We rush into this Monday night and PSU and ASU can't get any of their off season decisions to stick. PSU demands a redo the next day furthering their hatred from the league! There were some solid signing in the offseason by alot of teams but PSU comes away with the #1 class in the nation. PSU signs 2 punters making them unable to sign the #1 ATH in the nation. Nice! So here we are at the birth of season 2. Lets hope for an EA patch to help us with some of these issues. My observations of the Online Dynasty from 2011 - 2012 is that EA basically did NOTHING to improve the functionality of any aspect of this mode. If anything, it is more buggy. For shame EA. This just shows the importance of competition in business and creativity. While FIFA and NHL continue to improve and thrive our beloved Football games kind of stay stagnant. Please continue the hate on the Nittany Lions program and I will continue to put your losses to them on YouTube for all the world to see! Don't worry I'll put your rare wins up there too.....eventually.
