    Georgia - 24
    LSU - 17
Defense plays solid, Georgia upsets LSU
In a huge week for 2-2 Georgia, the defense decided to show up for the 2nd week in a row. They didn't right away though, as they gave up a huge 73 yard touchdown pass to start the game off. RsFreshman C.J. Davis would lead the Bulldog offense down the field though, and Georgia would tie it up after a goaline fade to Justin Scott Wesley. LSU then marched right back down the field and scored again for the Tigers, this time RB Jakhari Gore would punch it in from 8 to take the lead 14-7. After numerous punts, turnovers, and missed chances, Georgia would drive down the field and score a 47 yard field goal by Punter Preston Gibson, and LSU would go into the tunnel ahead 14-10.

LSU took the opening kickoff to the 21, but the very next play all-american CB Nick Marshall picked off the screen pass and took it back 21 yards for the touchdown. Georgia led 21-17. More turnovers and unconverted 3rd down would proceed, before LSU would tie up the game at 17. In the 4th quarter though, the offensive line dominated. They created huge holes for the true Freshman running back Jeff Jones to run through, and Jones had his best game as a starter. They would drive down to take the lead on a 1 yard plunge. Walter Robinson would intercept balls on the next two possessions of LSU, and Georgia would win the game 24-17.

This was a huge game for the Bulldogs as they have two very tough games coming at Michigan and then at home against Tennessee. UGA also had numerous recruits attending the game, and hopefully this will lead to a prosperous class.

    C.J. Davis: 15/27 226 yards 1 TD, 3 INT
Jeff Jones: 27 Carries for 113 yards
Jay Rome: 6 Catches 92 yards
Justin Scott Wesley: 4 Catches for 62 yards, 1 TD
