Well, our season is over, once again at the hands of the S. Carolina Gamecocks. Rest assured they will get my full attention henceforth, but they just DOMINATED us in the first half. In this game despite me bragging about how much I love my secondary they threw over the top of us anytime they pleased, including against man 2 deep and the like. Nothing we could do. We clawed back in it, but when they needed it they just threw another bomb to take the lead with 1:30 to go. They torched us basically. Driving to tie the game or take the lead we got greedy, tried to throw a short pass to the TE over the middle and he DUCKED OUT OF THE WAY so they could pick it off, and we lose.

Sounds about like Week 3. They're a tough team.

Happens with young teams, I'm dealing with the same stuff on defense. San Jose State was inexplicably passing at will on my defense. They hit like 11 different receivers. I think I have everyone covered and somehow the QB finds an open guy. In a way I'm happy that sometimes teams play at a higher level randomly, but it's very frustrating when you feel like you call the right D and it just doesn't matter.

Yeah, I'd get bored if I never lost to the cpu, but I still hate the process.. lol

I think the root of the problem can be traced to last week when Jacob Gray went down for 3 weeks, against you I split carries evenly between Marquice Caldwell and Gray, but Gray was the one that kept busting big gainers. I like them both, but kinda need them both for my offense to remain effective on the ground, because nobody behind CAldwell is very good yet.

I got through Cal, but my defense can't stop any running game. We give up too many yards.. Damn I gotta get some talent in here..but recruiting in Oregon is tough.

Also I hope you were over-exaggerating your season being over. We still have a long way to go. I mean I lost to you and I'm about to be back in the top 5 after this week. Keep hope alive!

I dunno, I think we're done as far as a BCS national title. We still have a lot to play for, SEC title and BCS bowl berth.

I'd never want to over-exaggerate anything that would be redundant ;)

I just finished my week 6 game vs. Virginia and won 41-24 but my game froze after the game before getting pack to the dynasty hub. It didn't record the game  What's the policy on this? I don't really want to play it again honesty...but I guess I'll have to if that's even an option. If it needs to be simmed that's fine with me. Totally sucks. I had a great game.

Damn.... My policy on it is if you feel like playing it go ahead. If not, go to ESPN tab, schedule, etc. and when you click on the game you'll have an option to sim it. Sim it, and see if you get the win. Now check for major injuries. If you get the win and no major injuries, we leave it. If not I throw it out. Does that work?

PSU puts the smack down on Indiana 65-7, while many young high schoolers come visit. The team played almost flawless....we allowed a late TD with under a minute left to lose the goose egg:mad:.

Our team is hitting a nice stride before heading into Alabama, Ohio State and then Nebraska.
