I can see anyway how my defense can play bad for any extended period of time. Occasionally we don't get pressure when they hurry up and the line gets tired but if I don't give up big plays forcing them to run more plays will result in a mistake. Percentage wise they wont be able to beat us consistently up and down the field.

I plan on running the clock out on them with West, Adams, Baker, Clay.....and some others..lawl

    Nice win Coach_III!

Penn State takes down pesky TCU. I loved playing in that Stadium....great place.

Alot went down yesterday vs TCU. QB Ryan Stark learned quickly as any errant passes resulted in an INT. They are ball hawks over there. Starks was awful, 2-9 for 40 yards 3 interception and 1 safety. Ryan was pulled for the back up Mike Bensen. Mike was much more efficient and accurate going 8/13 134 and 3 TDs. Ryan may have lost his starting job....

TCU could not stop the running attack from West as he rumbled for 31 carries 218 yds 2 tds. West will be a strong Heisman Candidate.

INJURY - Sophomore HB - Richard Clay went down for 8 weeks with a dislocated Elbow. A shame as he had an impact last season and we were excited to see what he could do this year. Adams will take his role as 3rd down back and Baker will take his place as KR and PR.

Overall solid win for PSU at TCU. If you get careless they could upset some teams.

    LSU next!

Mississippi st. Puppies pulled away in the 4th to beat ASU 20-6. The game was more like a chess match than a football game. Both teams ran very similar offenses. Freshman HB Sam Williams played very well running for 136yds. Keith Thompson was effective throwing 10-14 and a td. There were no turnovers in the game. Each team threw 14 times and ran 27 times. T.O.P was pretty much split. The bulldog defense held ASU under 100yds rushing and knocked out the sun devils #1 qb for the rest of the year.
