Right now I have 35 players on my board, and 34 of them are defensive players and only 5 of them are interested in me.

To summarize my recruiting board, I have a grand total of Z-E-R-O :3stars: prospects interested in me. I have a grand total of 8 :2stars: prospects interested in me.

Have I mentioned that I need defensive players.

    Ouch guys...

I am feeling the effects of my :3stars:prestige a bit...

I have 3 :4stars:I am in the top 10 in, but not sure if I will snag these guys or not. I also think I am only going after only 1 :2stars:this season who is a fast CB, the rest of my class should all be :3stars:

I picked up 2 instacommits last night. :3stars:DE and DT, and the DT was one of my 4 position needs. So a nice start.

The Tulane Green Wave get a couple insta-commits.

:3stars:#38 SS Steven Smith (6'0" 206 lbs. Benbrook, TX)

Steven should probably by a OLB but is too small. He has C+ speed and agility but an impressive B hit power. His coverage skills are lacking as he is C- both in zone and man. He will most likely be only in running formations and situations.

:1stars:#156 HB Darren Payne JUCO (5'9" 200 lbs. Rayville, LA)

Darren has some good power moves and stength as his speed is average at B. He will spend some time on the bench but will serve as a good change of pace in a year or two.

:1stars:#180 G Jeremy Macklin JUCO (6'5" 278 lbs. Killeen, TX)

Jeremy has C+ accel and C pass/run block. With a redshirt year he will most likely start unless I get some real game changers at the OL positions.

I'll trade you 2 :5stars: players for 10 :3stars: players right now. I have no clue how I got so lucky with those two guys, maybe the CPU saw what team was going to look like next season and they felt bad for me, I have no clue.

I think Im headed for a 50 OVR rated defense after this season. I have 17 seniors on my team this year, and 12 of them play defense, so its only going to get worse, unless I get a lot of help quickly.

One of the downsides to having crappy teams and by crappy I mean shittastic, is that there are very little in the way of recruiting battles. As of now I have had zero, and I plan on keeping it that way, because I don't want someone to negative recruit me to the tune of 400 points.

By the way, if I don't land at least 8-9 defensive players this year, its going to be very interesting the type of team I throw out there next year.

I had a few battles with Shaun this past season, but there were enough fish in the sea so as to not waste time competing for the same guys. As soon as I got down 200-300 I cut ties. But all those decisions came by week 4 or 5. After Week 5 I had a consistent list the rest of the way out.

As soon as I was only up 200-300 points I cut ties.

Also, if I don't jump up on some players' board really quick, its going to be a long, long recruiting season.

I'm hoping to pull a couple more :3stars: this season. That 2nd star of prestige is helping a ton. I hope I'm not over reaching for guys this season though.

Yeah my pitches aren't great, but I don't think I have any D's now so that's a big help. I also don't have any B's or A's besides Playing time and proximity to home, but it helps not having those really bad pitches.

I got 5 D's...... my good pitches are proximity to home... and playing time... everything else is C or a D... mostly D's

    I signed Pedro!!

Pedro Davis is a :3stars:OLB. He is 6'5 with B speed and A- acc. He is stupid with D- awr, but does have C tackle and C play recognition. Would be a nice 3-4 OLB

Yeah, i had the same reaction after looking for players with a 40 yard time under 4.40, and seeing Ball State show up on three players' list.

At this point im cutting and adding more players than Daniel Snyder each week. At this point I don't have a single offensive player on my board.
