Pick 2 of the Conferences listed above. We'll go with majority as usual. If I forgot any let me know...doing this on the fly at work.

I dont know if it will let you, but NO! Unless the 3 conference set-up makes a hell of comeback in the other poll then we gotta pick 3 :p

I voted SEC/ACC but would like to change to SEC/Big 10...just so that can be noted. After looking through the ACC I think the Big 10 would provide more balance...and that's coming from an ACC homer.

The SEC seems like fun. Assuming you have Alabama, Auburn, and LSU in one division and then Florida along with two of Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee in the other...that's a serious competition each year.

SEC - Big 10 is a nice setup due to the 3-4 bowl tie-in matchups those conferences have.

That said, I voted for WAC/Mountain West just to be difficult.

I actually think that setup could be fun if you wanted to run with lower tier teams, I actually voted before I realized sec/big 10 was looking like the winner.

I agree it would be fun but I dont think the majority of the guys want to go that direction.

I could roll with the MWC and WAC. That means I can go with that over Palouse school, I attended University of Idaho. Then I could bash BSU.

I don't know if we want to mess with Mountain West. I think they only have 8 teams next year, and there's no telling if the game will have TCU bailing after one season.

I like challenges as it makes it more coaching and playing the game more rewarding when you are raising abovethe talent which means you got skills and less of the computer 'doing things for you' so to speak so I am down with choosing weak conferences. I choose CUSA and Mountain west

The poll don't look so good so far because you have ACC/SEC which means you have a weak conference versus a powerhouse

Well right now the Mtn West and ACC are tied so I would take the ACC against the SEC rather than the Mtn West. If we really want to go smaller conferences we can do that. I just assumed everyone wanted to stick to the big dogs.

I still think the ACC stacks up against the Big 10 pretty well. It will also help with recruiting, making it a bit easier for the midwest and west coast teams to grab some good players as we all go for the guys in the south and southeast.

I wouldn't be interested in Mountain West. If we can find two lower tier conferences that each have championship games I would be fine, but the Mountain West is losing two of their best schools and has only 8 teams next year. The only conferences that would fit that are the MAC and C-USA, which I would be fine with. I think it makes sense to have two conferences with 6 teams in each division, with 3 users in each.

Maybe we should first decide on whether or not we want BCS schools or lower schools and then pick the conferences. Just throwing that out there.

When you account for me switching from ACC to Big 10, the Big 10 is actually up 3-2.

Also, C-USA and MAC are in similar regions as SEC and Big 10, respectively, so they are split from recruiting battles.

Looks like once everyone has voted we may need one more poll. Pick a pair, so to speak.

if my dream of playing with UI is denied because they are in the WAC, can we at least sub them for like Wyoming/UNLV or some other horrible program. That way I can still try and bash BSU. Let me state this for all to know, I hate BSU.

STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO!!!! haha

    ---

I took dru's stance: voting to be difficult

SEC because they are way out front
Big Ten because it created a 3 way tie for second

And quite frankly, SEC / Big Ten is great for postseason, so it works out well.
