This thread will make me happy
will game-day be in this years game?
We can't comment until AFTER the live stream.
For prospect scouting - did I hear correctly that recruit default ratings still show up in game right off the bat (the letter grades) but that scouting can reveal that a recruit's real ratings can be higher OR lower? Sorry if this was answered in the livestream but my signal kept dropping and I didn't catch the whole thing.
I believe a fake numerical rating appears, and the more you scout the more accurate that rating becomes.
will we be able to merge conferences?
Will the mwc and cusa merge in this years game?
This was on RynoAid wishlist
Is there a more realistic numbering and equipment logic for players in NCAA?
That's correct. There was a 3* tackle that come in at a 78 OVR
Lots of peeps in here
That's good stuff...been waiting for them to put scouting back in the game.
ask some damn questions people...
Mustang is correct. The number you see is the recruiting services rating? So you can think of it as ESPN or whoever's assessment of how good the kid is. As you scout him, you uncover his true abilities.
They didn't talk about that stuff specifically. And I'm not sure what category that falls under. Maybe presentation? So not sure I can comment on it or even answer your question.
That would be this blog.
Like everyone else, I missed bits and pieces as I lost the stream. Apologize if they answered my question.
Do the "very high" pitches mean more? The two that come to mind is Academic prestige and location. If a kid is "Very High" or "Most" on academics Notre Dame and Stanford should automatically be schools of interest. As far as location is concerned, the example I always use is Jadeveon Clowney. He was very interested in staying close to home in South Carolina. As a result, most of his schools of interest were in the Carolinas and Southeast. In NCAA 12, South Carolina (a 3* program) wouldn't have a great shot at him, if any. Has that been changed?
Is it true Applejack mated with Pound Cake in Episode 67 of My Little Pony Tales?
How long does it take to fully scout a recruit?
depends on how much scouting you are throwing at him
I think 120 min about unlocked a guy fully
Keep in mind you get a large chunk in the preseason but only 3 hours per week afterward.
Also, it depends on the position. OL takes less time than WR for example.
Nice - I was hoping it wouldn't be too easy to fully unlock. Thanks David.
Nah it's not IMO...it really just depends on how you attack with your scouting time ya know?
It falls along the same lines as recruiting time and the way each person wants to attack it.
It doesn't take a TON of time, but the computer is FAR better at grabbing guys. You won't have much success combing the recruits for recruits the CPU isn't persuiting.
I like it-thanks for the info Shaun.
