Okay, so the coach XP glitch is supposed to be fixed for all ODs started after the patch. We restarted 4th Horseman after the patch, had some attrition, got new members and what do you know, after one advance one of the new guys has no coach goals and cannot earn xp..... awesome.....
I'll list the specifics for mine after my next game but I'm showing all coach goals in the menu but I didn't get most of mine in my last game. Like I said I'll get some pictures and list the details after my next game.
Drifterbub recently i havent been able to get through a dynasty game on the first try without it freezing. User or vs. CPU. It's favorite place to freeze is the first few plays of the second half. This is really getting infuriating and I'm to the point where I'm just going to stop playing and pass off my dynasty. Any suggestions on how to help stability problems like this?
I am having this issue in a non TSO league. We lost a conf champ game and national title game because one user would freeze on load screen. The common denominator is that in each instance the player that froze DID NOT have the uniform packs and his opponent DID. The player who froze tried to go buy the uniform pack to see if that would fix it but got an error in the store and could not buy/download them. Essentially we are stuck having to sim a high % of user games now unless we can figure out a way to delete the uniform packs or allow everyone to buy them. I'll let y'all decide how ethical either of those options are from a business perspective...
Did he check to see if he had them? I've heard that you get an error when downloading and you're told they didn't download, but when you look for me in game you see they downloaded just fine.
Yeah for me this is not an issue with uniform packs, im just getting hard freezes against the CPU constantly
Yeah, as others have said, uniform pack discrepancies are known to cause instant freezes on load. I know for a fact it's true for the first uniform pack. Not sure about the others.
I'm not sure what causes that. I was talking about the issue when it freezes during a UvU game. I've never had a CPU game freeze on me (nor have I heard of it being a widespread issue), so you have to give me more details. Obviously something has changed. Does it do it online and offline? Dynasty or play now games? As a first step, I would delete all my updates and re-download them. If you have the game installed on the HDD, I would delete it too.
OK thanks for the suggestions. It's happening in my OD, user and CPU games, generally at the first few plays of the second half but it can happen anywhere. Only in game, never in menus.
Did you delete your profile? It's the only other thing I can think of if you removed all the game files. I don't think anyone else has reported having this issue. I have an e-mail into EA, but since there is no NCAA team anymore, I don't know where it's going to go.
Got the xp glitch again in After Midnight. New user has no data in the goals screen. Anyone know if adding them in the offseason fixes this or is he pretty much screwed?
League name: WorstoftheWorst14 Commissioner: Chess960 Issue: Missing Coach Data / No Coach XP League started with 6 members, each able to receive coach xp. We added 5 members after season 2. The first 2 of the 5 that joined were able to receive coach xp. The remaining 3 and even new members, that try to join, are unable to receive xp. I believe this caused the issue: One of the remaining three joined but picked the wrong team, he then retired and picked the right team but used the same coach name. After this incident, new users are unable to receive coach xp / coach data. (we have tried this with a dummy league and the same issue occurred). I have spoke with EA via chat (2x) and called them. Their suggested fixes did not work: Suggestion 1: Transfer the commissioner to another user Suggestion 2: Remove the effected users, delete the dynasty file and have them rejoin with a different coach name (same team) What EA does not understand is these resolutions do not address the issue of new users be able to join the dynasty and receiving coach xp. They said the issue has been referred to their specialist and someone will contact me in 7-14 days. I believe the only way to fix this is with a patch. We all need to contact them to try and expedite this: I checked forums and posts and this issue was first reported since July.
The issue with user vs user games freezing at game start menu for the online dynasty (where you edit your uniforms and select your playbook) is caused by the uniform pack. Both users have to have the uniform pack. If you already have it, make sure it is installed. Go to PSN, view downloads, locate the uniform pack and re-install it.
