Added the first three kids to the Vols' class. Looks like 2 wide receivers.

Mizzou lands the #6 DE in the country in Michael Johnson out of Texas. This makes Mizzou's 3rd top 10 positional recruit thus far this year

    upload_2013-11-12_10-53-5.png

He is a welcome edition to the SEC with so many mobile QBs. Johnson will likely red-shirt next year with a few guys yet to commit who are all but locked up at this point. He will be a future starter in a few years in Colombia.

Cal has signed 3 guys so far.

Moore will be a solid SS down the line. His SPD and ZCV are decent, but we really love his TKL.

I still don't get the OVR rating for OLs in '14 as Clemons looks much better than a 75 to me. He'll be a stud in the future with his 91 ACC, 80 PBK, 81 RBK and will be a multi-year starter for Cal.

Unlike his past years with SMU and ASU, this release coach Jello almost never uses a FB so he just finds the easiest body to sign. Carter fit that bill perfectly and will be as good as any other FB that we sign with his 70/70/70 blocking skills.

Cal signs 3 more for their small 1st year class.

Dennis would make a great CB, but he's the QB of the future for Cal and will start immediately next year as a true FR. This will finally give the Bears a threat to run @ the QB position with his 92 SPD and 89 ACC. His rushing skills aren't great, but he does have a great SMV and JKM to use in the open field. On top of all that, he has an excellent arm for a scrambler with 86 THP/82 THA (Cal's current starter is the best passer in the nation and his arm is very similar @ 90 THP/81 THA). As a true SR Dennis' arm will be roughly 89 THP/93 THA which will make him an extreme dual threat with his 95 SPD/92 ACC.

Harris, who would've made a great WR, will be Dennis' career backup. This will give Cal a RETARDED 6 QBs on their team next season, but only 2 of them (these 2) will be capable of running coach Jello's system so it's a necessary evil (P.S. To any of you QBs currently on my team, if you ever wanna see a college football field again, do us both a HUGE favor and transfer the hell off of my team).

Rogers will be a career backup.

Must be nice...at Wazzu Rogers would be in the mix as a true frosh or at the very least a RS Fr.

With the worst starting everything in the league, roster, prestige, pitches...we really had to be crafty on the trail this year and believe we have been. The Roster will improve next year, we took a chance and RS'd some players who maybe could have played this year and helped and it has worked out. Now we can benefit from the extra year of practice and growth....It has been helped by a few vets playing above their overall says they should.

That said I am pleasantly surprised with our first class in Pullman. We have added a ton of offensive speed...and just need to lock down 2 underwhelming 4 star guys at least in overall rating, (we don't think that is the be all end all in players)... that we really like for our scheme and this will be a very nice base class to start the rebuild.

The entire key this year was just finding guys getting going on them and as soon as we got competition for them....knowing we couldn't really beat anyone...we gave up moved on...and just kept churning our board all year long.

Were going to come up short in two spots we really needed a body or two CB and OL....but those will be a focus next year....we should improve our pitches, our prestige and believe this class is laying a solid groundwork for future success.

I will update with some class photos soon...of course there will be no comments on what we think of any of them.

I checked your roster and you're RSing a couple of guys that you're not allowed to RS (the highlighted ones below).

    Capture2.PNG Capture1.PNG

Since this is your first year with us I'd suggest that you reread the RSing rules for next season.

    Christian Howard 72 ovr WR
    Brian Newman 74 ovr ATH
    Nick Robertson 76 ovr SS
    Vincent Mullins 65 ovr CB

That's it no pics because I'm in a major slump that has some of my prized recruits bailing fast. Got Alabama up next so these will probably be the only guys in this year ..... and Masler suck it..... you got my #1 TE coming to town week 15 ...... i hope his plane crashes. :ninja:

Cal signs a JUCO SO that fills a position of need who should be a serviceable #2 or #3 HB down the line for the Bears. He could also be used to help establish a GA pipeline for Cal.

UCLA has put together a solid class this year. With a couple more recruits on the board which are coming in for the USC game we should wrap up before the offseason. The class is headlined by Michael Flynn would will step in for a departing Shaq Evans.

So nice you had to show him twice!! Ha... I knew we would most likely lose the battle for him...We simply cant compete for recruits with any of the user teams yet..We hung in there though...so we kept trying...The expected result happened...no reason to be sorry my man....

Cause I know your really not! ;)

We will add a very mediocre body or two to the Oline this class....and hope we can get better ones next year.

    Nice get Mizzou!

    @The Experience

First let me apologize for not knowing the rule that isn't like me, I needed to set up my roster balance and the two guys in question above are needed moving forward...and the RS actually makes them more playable for me as a coach in the Cougar system.

The Soph FS at 71 overall just seemed like a no brainer to me...system wise he wouldn't see the field hardly at all this season...When he may have I use a sub package and he wouldnt be in...and in all honesty with our roster depth I didn't want to waste a year from a player who will be useful for 3 full seasons. The Soph WR has a higher Overall but wouldn't have cracked my top 5 players this season at the spot anyway...I kept a soph with a lower overall of 80 and played him instead of the WR in question....I like him more...in fact he starts in most base sets. Thing is next year the RS puts him right in line to be a top 4 WR for us with our seniors leaving.. I just thought it was the right thing to do for my team and for roster balance...honest mistake..and have never seen RS a soph illegal in any other TSO NCAA league I have played in...no excuse...just my oversight.

So by the way this rule works I could have RS the WR who is 80 overall player and that I like allot more? Or no? As long as I didn't RS the 82 overall guy who I like way less and would have rotted this year?

So I checked the rule out...I am familiar with the rule now... Curious did you fine tooth comb all the teams rosters to make sure nobody else had done this? Or just mine because I posted some content about my team and roster plans?

I do need a little clarification however...

On incoming Junior college transfers...at a school like WSU they will "Grey Shirt" often...what is our thoughts on that here? Is it solely based on overall? Ill be honest the overall rating of a player doesn't mean much to me at some spots...I am looking for certain things they do well.....not high overall to make them useful to me.

I may or may not land a couple of the JC types this season....by overall it may put them at 3rd or 4th string...but a RS season puts them in the mix in season 3...How should I work that?

For example Mayle a JR College trans was close to Grey Shirting this season out there irl....but caught onto the O quicker then they thought and was simply a beast in fall camp and Coach L decided he could help now....so he played...Great thing is it looks like he may get two more years out there since he has a petition with the NCAA for an extra year...that looks good.

I would have loved to have gave him a year to sit but didn't because the Cougars didn't and he has really been a big player for us. I never RS Juniors....but in T1 we could on Juco guys...so just curious how everyone feels on it.

The rule isn't about FR/SO (although I think it's also frowned upon to RS SOs, but that's probably not a big deal year 1.
The rule is to make sure that we have our entire 2 deep filled with position appropriate players:
    ----
    upload_2013-11-21_8-20-30.png
    ----
This means your depth chart needs to have 2 HBs, 2 TEs, 2 FSs, etc. But because it's a 2 deep rule, it also means that your depth chart must have 4 WRs (since 2 are starters and 2 are backups), 4 DTs (if you run a 4 man front), 4 MLBs (if you play a 3-4), and 4 CBs.

Obviously all 11 of us have guys every season that will hardly ever see the field and would make our team better in the future if we could RS them.

Here are a couple of my own guys from my 2 deep that would've RSed if I were allowed to as they were not needed this year, but could've been used for more years with a RS:

    upload_2013-11-21_8-28-5.png upload_2013-11-21_8-28-49.png upload_2013-11-21_8-29-19.png

This rule was put in place to help keep our teams' talent level in check vs. the CPU (the same reason why we're not allowed to sway back any starters that declare for the draft). We don't have recruiting restrictions in terms of star restrictions or anything like that so we really need rules like the "no swaying" and "2 deep rule" to try to keep the CPU teams competitive.

You say that your guys wouldn't see the field, but I can guarantee you that your #2 FS saw the field against UofC and will see it against Bill as no huddle teams wear a D down. Also for future reference, it looks like you made up for your RSing FS by breaking another rule by having CBs in your safety depth charts which is also not allowed (to my understanding). The rule spells it out for position changes, but I'm pretty certain it goes for depth chart as well.

A RB athlete with 4.34 speed...his carry needs allot of work. He will RS as a Freshman....maybe. But he has some nice rushing and receiving tools....so maybe he ends up at WR where a year would help his 68 catch.

    ScreenHunter_73 Nov. 21 07.26.jpg

A Juco RB and a reason for one of my questions above. He is going to be buried coming in, but his 4.36 speed and nice rushing and rec skills make him a prime Juco to RS and then become a stud for us the year after.

    ScreenHunter_73 Nov. 21 07.29.jpg

One of the fastest WR's in this class at 4.32 needs some work on his hands and will RS as a Frosh...or might return kicks and punts for us...havent decided yet...depends on some other training and how much guys improve. Obvious that he will factor in for the Cougars down the line nice size at 6'2 209.

    ScreenHunter_73 Nov. 21 07.31.jpg

A prize of our recruiting class, yea we didnt scout him...but looking at where his base #s start, we think he will be a stud. An obvious great get for WSU season 1.

    ScreenHunter_73 Nov. 21 07.33.jpg

This is the kind of player we are looking for, he was listed as one of the fastest OLB's in this class at 4.44 which turned into 89 speed, combine that with decent str and blk shed #s coming in and he will be a player in the future for us. A RS is in his future and a possible move to MLB.

    ScreenHunter_73 Nov. 21 07.35.jpg

Another non scouted guy, we just have a feeling he will be mid 70's when he hits campus, a RS and then starter most likely. His B pwr and C fin moves along with B blk shedding give us hope for a good showing once we "know".

    ScreenHunter_73 Nov. 21 07.37.jpg

Love his size and athletic ability from the un-scouted ratings online. Hoping for an uptick in his ability to catch the ball, otherwise he will need a RS season but will factor in, in a season or two.

    ScreenHunter_73 Nov. 21 07.39.jpg

The Cougs needed a real FB and got Perry...He has some nice things about him...speed wise, so he may contribute more carrying the ball then blocking for anyone or being able to catch it....We will see....He also moves us one player closer to a Florida pipeline.

    ScreenHunter_73 Nov. 21 07.41.jpg

Not sure what to think of Tyler, like most Cougars we didnt scout him but are hoping he can be better then advertised...Like the B power moves and C block shed as a start. Should be high 60's speed based on his raw #s online. Could turn into something in a season or two.

We are still heavily chasing a few players...We have one locked up who should commit this week...at SS....in Peter Hill while his overall to start isnt great we see allot to like in him...

    ScreenHunter_73 Nov. 21 07.44.jpg

6'6 219 pounds...He will need some time to get better obviously...He is what we have to look for in season one....One man's 4 star bust...is another man's 4 star happy to have ya....

Despite what I wrote in the PM, I swear I'm not singling you out or trying to pick on you or anything. That said, this dude is a little too light (which isn't a big deal) but way too fast to move to MLB.
