NCAA 2010 Demo out Thursday (Rumor)
We shall see....
Wow, already? I hope it turns out to be true.
Im hearing gameplay is very, very similiar to last year's game.
Not saying that is exactly negative, but I'm not expecting much difference this year.
Thursday may be too soon, my iphone 3.0 update is Wednesday, I just got started with Tiger 10 and my girlfriend is back in town Saturday. Not enough of me to go around!
its only a demo...they get old fast.
IMO...NCAA 09 gameplay wise was awesome...I believe the tweaks they made are going to make a huge difference.
they will be overlooked but it is going to make a difference..
better angles, adjusted AI, etc
yea, as long as they tighten up some parts of the game...
1. Speed debacle of wide open gameplay
2. Horrific persuit angles
3. Bad OL/DL interaction (cut blocks)
4. Linebacker INT's (too many freaky LB INT's)
5. Robo QB - More bad QB throws, not just completions or INT's
i think the game can be real a real improvement, especially for online leagues. Hopefully the CPU will be tougher this year while still able to produce realistic team vs team matchups.
besides the robo QB, I have heard of all those things being fixed.
btw..I sent you a PM a while back Ryno
Yeah, all of those are fixed and the QB does make bad throws, just look at the videos up at OS.
I can see a huge difference in gameplay just from the videos and I'm guessing it will feel really different from the speed demon teams that we have currently.
They said there would be no one who runs a 4.18

Unless something unusual is happening, demo's come out on Tuesdays for XBL
now that's funny right there... i don't care who ya are...
How do you get the demo? Never have had one, can you buy it or get it from somewhere free?
Flo, Thursday just check the "Game Marketplace" on XBOX Live & click new arrivals. It will be there if they release it.
damn you helpful, courteous people.... you ruin all teh interwebz gamz
Lawdog's game genie begs to differ.
really this doesn't mean anything. If they have a recruit that runs a 4.30 and is the fastest in the game and dominates...then we are in the same boat!
The thing of there being no 4.18 guys is for realism's sake, not to prevent people from getting guys that run a 4.39 with A+ speed (which, if I've understood some of the things the devs have said, is going to be around what the A to A+ speed 40 time will be).
No player ever has ran a 4.18, ever, much less there constantly being 1 or 2 ever season.
So far, from what I've seen, the pursuit angles are MUCH improved, to the point where you probably won't see guys breaking one long unless there's good blocking down the field (or, at least, from what I've seen) or unless the team you are playing has FAR superior speed to your defenders (which it would then make sense for them to be able to break one long down the sidelines because they're able to outrun your pursuit angles).
Seems the "Wide Open Gameplay" from last year has been fixed some, which is definitely a good thing since it was total garbage (and constantly seems to be one of the reasons why my noob ass gets torched for a big play or three by the computer no matter what...).
Yea, there is a video on OS of Florida vs. Utah St. and Floridas fast KR James has what would have been an easy KR TD in 09, but instead an Aggie comes from the far side of the kick formation and takes a great pursuit angle and drags him down inside the 10.
The pursuit angles look good, if they fixed super human DB/LBs and rolling the quaterback out to the sideline then the game should be good.
I really don't know what the big deal is about these dynasty enhancements, they had those in 2009, and only cost about 2 bucks each. I didn't know there was a rule against them, I promise not to use them in 2010.
WTF no they didn't
