Bulls defense crumbles in 38-31 defeat

The Syracuse Orangmen came to Buffalo and had their way with the Bulls defense. The Bulks gave up over 200 yards rushing and 350+ through the air. Syracus got out to a fast start taking a 21-3 first quarter lead. The Bulls showed flashes on offense but never really found a rhythm being forced to abandon the run so early. Colin Michael threw for 439 yards and 4 touchdowns, but a lot of those yards came with the bulls down 21 in the 4th. With plenty of recruits visiting this is a tough blow vs an in-state rival. The Bulls will now have to regroup quickly as they travel to upstart Western Kentucky next week.

In other sad but wise news:

Idaho Coach Moss has retired. But in a shocking twist, he had this to say at his recent press conference: "Yea, I'm going to miss Idaho. My time was short to be sure. And I had so-so success. But as difficult as this might be for some of you to believe, I announce now that the reason I am leaving is to be the Head Coach of the NFLs Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It is a dream come true. And actually, for a second I contemplated being able to be the first coach to in fact coach both the Vandals and the Bucs simultaneously, after discussion with the wife, kids, and God... I just couldn't do it. I wish the Vandals well and ask for your prayers in my time in Tampa... especially since I just got absolutely trounced in my first preseason game there. God bless."

San Jose shocks the world beating Oklahoma 35-28.

Oklahoma would get on the board first with a 11 yard pass in the first 7-0

San Jose would find Sullivan on a curl route he would turn up field and 50 yards later we have a tied ball game 7-7.

On the next play OU would fumble and a few plays after that FB Underwood would plow forward putting us up 14-7.

On the next series I would hold OU to a punt so I thought but stealing a page from Heath they fake punted my ass for a tie game 14-14.

San Jose would force a pick in the red zone with a few ticks to go and launch up the Hail Mary only for senior Carr to haul it in from 78 yards out to take the half time lead 21-14.

The third would be spent punting until SJSU would put together a great drive and cap it off with Underwood's second TD of the game.

But have no fear even up 28-14 this was not over as with 39 ticks to go in the third and 5:33 in the fourth Hightower would blow his coverage and Metoyer would streak in from 48 and 44 yards out. Seriously the plays looked exactly the same :)

SJSU would march down like a team that went 10-3 last year and cap it off with a 20 yard strike to Linton back on top 35-28.

OU would take the last three minutes of the game up marching down to tie it up but on a fourth and goal from the seven they would shoot themselves in the foot with a five yard out running out of bounds. SJSU would come back on the field to the Victory formation and Kneel out an improbable win for this young Spartan team.

    Jurich 13-21 250 3td 1int

    Thompson 20 for 60

    Carr 6 for 135 and a td

Forced three TO's on there side of the field is a huge reason for this win also my d-line was killing it with pressure. Makes up for the sim loss to UMASS I mean who loses to UMASS? I thought for sure it would be a sim win :D

#19 MTSU gets upset at #25 Ok St

MTSU would take the early as they would return the opening kick off for touchdown. It was a high scoring game and both teams offenses would be dominating in this game and would torch or just run over the opposing defense. MTSU offense had no problems they were able to throw the ball, and able to run the ball all they wanted, they just couldn't stop the other team and thats what ended up costing them the game. A lot of big plays for big yards for MTSU
MTSU Qb. T. Goode would have amazing game in only his second career start, he couldn't be stopped throwin the ball or even on his 5 attempts running the ball he couldn't be stopped. he would put a up about a 76 yard rushing touchdown which was amazing. The future looks bright for him and the MTSU Blue Raiders

MTSU would also lose three players in this game due to Injury Wide out J. Lawson for 1 week, Star Defensive End L. Gaque for 11 weeks and the 2 touchdown kick off returner for 2 weeks

Final Score MTSU 47 OK ST 52

    QB T. Goode 24-36 359 2 tds 1 INT( 6 carries 84 yds 1 td ) long rush of 76 yds
    HB R. Whatley 20 carries 97 yds 1 td
    Wr T. Allen 10 catches 160 yds 1 TD
    Wr J. Lawson 6 catches 104 yds 1 TD
