I dont know how to take this. I would like to read what some of the more seasoned members of the NCAA community think. Because if memory serves me this was the same guy last year saying the read option was broke because the DE was never being blocked. So i would apperciate opinions :)

    Thanks
    John

If the CPU didn't do this stuff they wouldn't have a chance. :(

this is one of those great situations where i agree with the point the guy is making, but still think he's dumb.

i'm not really sure cheating corners on the run game is a good enough reason to jump down to Heisman.

the problem here is the only real way for defense to improve in madden, ncaa and some other games (like FIFA and NBA2K) is to come up with a way to replicate instincts. or perhaps another way to take the years of reading and reacting a defensive player does over a career and bring it into a video game.

what they do now is they cheat. if you look close enough it happens all of the time. LBs hitting the right holes. DEs who happen to swim right into where the play was supposed to go. DBs cutting on a route before the receiver does.

this is why for years I argued taking an HB Blast and immediately running outside with your HB was cheese. The AI LBs were hitting the gaps and clogging up the middle of the field regardless of what the HB did - it was the AI's way of cheating to keep that part honest.

they no doubt added cheating CBs to contain some of the outside running game from last year and the year before and push it more in-between the tackles (which is more realistic).

    I'm confused.

On AA and Heisman, when does the play side corner know what play you're running?

If the CPU knows everything I'm going to do, why are draw plays still effective? And I'd be curious as to what sliders this guy uses to play on varsity difficulty.

He is saying that the play side corner knows on both AA and Heisman.

I would also be curious to see his completed varsity set. Does anyone know where he is posting them?
