Saw somewhere XBOX guys were having issues with it not updating and now it may come out tomorrow? Anyone know if there's any truth to this? Also, any effect on PS3 version?

Would be kinda fun to get the demo first for once :)

Why did we create a thread so early, I was going to enjoy telling people it was still not ready

It's available now, you just need to search for it by name (complete name) on the marketplace. It's not under "new releases" or any other heading that I could find.

Alternatively you can download it here:

Just play my first game. I used A&M against Oregon. Wanted to see if the Ducks could actually move the ball.

    All-American difficulty.

    Good
    - I liked the game speed and foot planting a lot.
    - the CPU run game and run blocking were much, much better.
-I had a pass sail on me pretty bad on a play. That's default QB accuracy.
    - I like the new fatigue and Acceleration.
-passing was more realistic. I couldn't run outs and curls easily just because the DB's played back. They came up aggressively.
-user run blocking was better/more realistic. Not easier just better.
-physics ingine was good. Much improved over Madden 13.
    - KR's were better.
    - didn't notice any game breaking glitches.
    - I used the RE and the RE pass rush glitch seems to be gone. I noticed more pass rush moves.
-CPU ran the option very good.
-CPU almost blocked one of my punts

    Bad
-CPU ran RB screens terribly. He held the ball to long and got sacked most of the time. Did better on WR screens.
    - the small CPU RB seemed to break too many tackles to get yards instead of evading the d to get yards.
-CPU pass game was pretty bad. Maybe Heisman is better.
    - no penalties all game.
-not enough separation between plays as far a speed for me.

I won 7-3. It was a fun game. Very good for a demo. Only one game but, I'm impressed so far.

As a spread option guy I gotta say that I'm in heaven right now! Oregon's playbook is fucking LOVELY!!! The amount of new stuff in there is crazy!
    Shovel options
    midline read options
    counter read options
    counter triple options
    inverted veers
    motion triple options
dart read options (with a pulling lineman as a lead blocker)
Y lead read options (with a back as a lead blocker)
    trap read options
    veer options

Oregon has a completely new formation with nothing but new plays in it. Just look at all of these plays that are in just this 1 formation!

EVERY single play in that formation has the WR (whom I assume would be DAT for Oregon) coming with the same automotion, yet there's 12 different plays that can happen when the ball is snapped!

    Just from Oregon's PB:

Normal wing offset (very similar to normal flex wing) but with 7 new plays in it.
    Y trips offset
Wing trips offset (very similar to wing offset)
    Trio offset
spread offset (very similar to spread flex)
trips offset (noticing a theme here with the "offset"s?)

I'm not being facetious at all when I say this; I'm glad you are happy with the end result.

I just played 1 game as Oregon's offense (I forced aTm to punt on 1st down whenever they got the ball) and pretty much just ran the ball to get a feel for the options. Here are some general observations:
    • The menus are pretty slow. With all the hype I expected them to be much faster.
    • Watching E3 vids I LOVED the coordinator cam. As a run-first guy, it felt too far away and made it tougher to run. I can definitely see it being nice for passing.
    • Wide felt too far away for running the ball as well. Strangely enough, I vastly preferred the normal camera. Will definitely try coordinator and wide out some more later.
    • Options felt very good. Not overpowered, but the felt very good. The number of different option types is almost staggering.
    • I feared that zombie nation would be played all the time. I forgot all about it until I was stopped on 4th down with 1 minute left in the 4th quarter as that was the 1st time I heard it.
    • I could be mistaken, but I don't think the stumble recovery indicator showed up on my impact guys (because it had a star in the circle already).

I tried to find the post when you said you thought I'd be happy with it so I could quote it but I was too lazy.

Honestly, I'm pretty blown away with all the new spread option stuff.

Just finished my first game as Michigan. I beat OSU 18-17 by going for the 2 pt conversion on my final drive.

I have to say, I LOVE the game so far. The feel of it is great. The danger of over-pursuit is there and you have to be careful of it. The players run smoothly and cut with ease and grace. The presentation is good. The colors look great and the players really pop off the field more than they have in previous years.

I literally have nothing bad to say from my first game. I'm extremely excited for the full game!

Braxton Miller shredded me when I got too aggressive and that's exactly how it should be. Good to see the improvement in the CPU AI as well.

They removed some gameplay adjustments. Most notably gone is Jump The Snap.

Not much. I've already heard an exact line I heard all the time last year. But overall the presentation is improved.

"You know, it's funny. In the meetings last week, this guy was asking his coach why he wasn't playing a little receiver. That's why you're playing defensive back. You can't catch."
