With the 2013 NFL Draft fast approaching we want to take a weekly (every advance) look at some of the 2013 prospects.

This will be an exciting feature aimed at giving some detail for each player. Feel free to help us along the way!

This week we want to focus on :

    Navy DT Jarrett Jean-Louis

Jean-Louis is a 6'3" 297 lb monster that has controlled the middle of the Navy defense for the last three years. At 297 lbs, Jarrett runs a 4.8 40 yard dash, and he benched a whopping 44 reps this last winter. With his speed and strength, Jean-Louis will look to dominate the interior lineman for year's to come. His greatest game was this year's Army/Navy game where he recorded 3 sacks, 1 FF and scored a touchdown.

    QB Dyjuan Dozier

The University of Florida has a long known history of producing "system" Quarterbacks. This year it will be completely different. QB Dyjuan Dozier is an odds on favorite to win the most prestigious college football award, the Heisman. Dozier has thrown for 27 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions on the season, all while leading the Gators to the SEC championship game. Dyjuan is the son of former NFL and Penn State player D.J. Dozier.

Dozier is a strong armed QB who can hit anything short or deep. Despite his knee surgery during his sophomore year, Dyjuan was graded out fine medically.

    MLB Kenyon Hubert

The great tradition of defense continued at Iowa behind the stout leadership of Hubert. Not only did Kenyon exhibit great skills at leading a defense, he has all the tools to be a linebacker at the next level. This kid can fit in any system, whether its a 3-4 or 4-3. Hubert has phenomenal speed, acceleration and agility at the point of attack. He drives his legs to finish the tackles, and possesses great ball skills. Kenyon could be a top 5 pick in the draft this coming year.

    HB Thomas Hayes

Thomas Hayes set the standard this year in college football by becoming the Doak Walker award winner. Hayes would lead Ole Miss to a top 15 finish after their stunning victory over LSU. Thomas possesses great speed, and open field elusiveness. Along with his speed, Hayes is not afraid of contact, as he will run over any CB or S gets in his way. With his vision, Thomas Hayes will quickly rise to become an elite HB at the NFL level.

While the Redskins front office has given no indication how 2013's 1st round pick will be used, it is widely speculated that the 'Skins will use the pick to shore up its linebacking corps after the mid-season trade of Brian Orakpo. However, there is also speculation that the franchise might be leaning towards snagging the phenom HB from Ole Miss, Thomas Hayes. The Redskins owner is a graduate of Ole Miss and fervent supporter of the his alma mater's football team.

The front office declined to comment at this time and said only that the franchise in currently mired in what has been a frustrating season from a wins standpoint and that the only focus right now is to end the season strong. The 'Skins owner, quite garrulous by nature, was not so tight lipped. While insisting that he does not interfere with personnel decisions, he did state that "if he was involved" in draft decisions that he "would love to have the kid from Ole Miss." He went on to say, with a impish grin, "But like I said, I don't meddle in personnel decisions."

You might recall, the owner of the Redskins was suspended from taking part in day to day operations earlier this season. While the league was tight-lipped on the reasons for the suspension, it is widely believed that irregularities related to the Brian Orakpo-Brandon Flowers trade resulted in the suspension. Upon reinstatement, the team owner publicly announced that he would leave management of the team to the professionals he hired to run the team and that he would not be invlolved in any personnel decisions going forward.
