Power Rankings
1
Kevin Gomez (22-7)
With Hanley Ramirez batting over .370, Clayton Kershaw undefeated at 5-0 and Zack Grienke with an ERA under 1.5, this team is clicking on all cylinders. They are the clear favorite to represent the NL in the World Series.
2
Emmdotfrisk (20-8)
Though I think Frisk is still the best user in the league, you can't argue with the fact that the Dodgers have a better roster and record than the Mariners. Nevertheless, with a pitching staff that includes King Felix (6-0, 1.84 ERA) and Erasmo Ramirez (3-0, 1.80) ERA, expect this team to be at the top of the rankings most of the season.

CPU (24-5)
What the hell has got into Carlos Quentin? Quentin is batting over .400 with 6 home runs and 30 RBI's through April. He is the clear leader for the NL MVP so far. The other reason this team is 24-5 is their pitching staff. Josh Johnson is 4-0 with a .95 ERA (he's no hitting redwings though 5 as I type this) and Ian Kennedy, Tyson Ross and Andrew Cashner are a combined 8-1 with an ERA under 2.5. Can this continue?
4
Mogriffjr (19-8)
The Mets are probably the 2nd biggest surprise in NEBL behind the Padres. GM Mo has his team at the top of many of the major pitching categories. In fact, every one of his starters has an ERA under 3. Along with the solid pitching, Curtis Granderson is have a solid start to the season with 7 HR's and an OPS over .900. Not sure if the team is built for the sims but Mo can complete with anyone on the sticks.
5
CPU (23-5)
This team is absolutely raking to start the season. They are atop of the league in every major hitting category including BA, Home Runs, RBI's and On-Base percentage. I look for this team to cool off as the season continues.
6
CPU (20-13)
First place in the AL East. This team gets on base a ton (.350 OBP) and has one of the best pitching staffs in the game. Of all the CPU teams, this is the one with staying power.
7
CPU (18-11)
Another team that's performance is based on the initial show learning curve. They will be below .500 by the end of the season.
8
guayo10 (17-14)
The king of trade has his team only 2 games behind the Rays. GM Guayo has tried to completely reshape his roster by trading Bird, A-Rod, Pineda, Robertson, Gardner and Sanchez and receiving SP J. Francis, 2B Torreyes, SS Petit, SS S. Castro and CF A. Almora. Will all the moves payoff? Does he have more planned?

Braves will pass them by the All-Star Break.

Ryty (16-13)
My guys are staring to get it together with a current 7 game win streak. Homer Bailey is the current lead for the NL Cy Young and the hitting is starting to come around. The main question for the Reds is what they are going to do with Johnny Cueto. The star pitcher is on the block and the Reds are looking for more hitting.

Blaza (16-12)
Top 20 pitching staff; top 10 lineup. Freddy Freeman is batting .380 with 9 HRs and I've heard Blaza is good at this game. Good combination moving forward.

Solid team in a division with Bob, Frisk, Guy and Noles. Good Luck, CPU.

The champs will get it going. They just have too much talent along with a very solid GM.

Colorado is an prime example of mediocrity. They are basically in the middle of every team stat including home runs.

Danthraxxx (13-16)
GM Dan can pitch as evident by his top 10 pitching staff. Unfortunately, his team batting average of .202 is really holding him back. If the Indians can start hitting like they did towards the end of last season, look for the Indians to push for a Wild Card spot.

Still wondering when RA Hickey will be a Red Sox?
17

Cole Copeland (13-16)
A victim of the sim, GM Cole is still one of the best users in the league. I would expect this solid team to be right there with the Reds at the end of the season.
18
![]()
HotRod (12-15)
Hot Rod will be a force to reckon with when he gets all of his belongings moved into his new office. This team is loaded on offense and should pitch well enough to contend in the East. They are only 5 games out and they will get their GM back soon enough.

The Marlins tried hard during the month of April to acquire multiple big time players while giving up very little in return. Nobody bit and the Marlins are still what we thought they were - a bad baseball team with one budding star.

ThaBayouChef (12-17)
Another solid GM that is very tough on the sticks only to be hit by the sim bug. Honestly, it is pretty amazing that the Pirates are as close to .500 as they are with a team batting average under .200. Their saving grace is their pitching staff that is in the top 10 in runs allowed and ERA. Once the hitting comes around, and it will eventually come around , look out for the Bucs.

uagrad90 (12-16)
Pulse Pitch Guy is playing pretty well with his newly acquired Athletics. Though they aren't at .500, they will be a team to reckon with at least from a batting standpoint.

KnightNoles (11-17)
This team is very young and with young teams comes growing pains. Not even Knight's magic controller can save this team from the inevitable losing season. Nevertheless, the future is bright.

BobJr (11-16)
The king started out slow but started to get it together towards the end of the month. The Rangers lead the league in fielding and are in the top 10 in pitching. Bob just needs to get the bats going and he will be fine.

redwings8831 (11-20)
GM Redwings is very solid on the sticks when he has the team that he wants. Right now, the talent on the Diamondbacks just isn't there. I expect him to try hard to make many moves before the deadline to try and get better quickly.

Jmustang1968 (8-18)
Miggy is doing his thing with 11 HR's and a .326 average. The problem for the Tigers is they are 24th in the league in runs allowed and 29th in team ERA. With a staff like the Tigers, this can't continue. The problem is that they've dug a 14 game hole behind the Royals.

JSimms (9-21)
GM Simms may be looking to leave SF after being sold a bill of goods on the non-existent farm system. Could he be looking to make a move to another franchise?
28

Lou (7-21)
The Nationals are too talented to be 7-21. I know GM Lou knows this. Let's hope he turns it around.

CPU (9-18)
This team has a team batting average of .178 and is dead last in runs scored. They are clearly in rebuilding mode.

CPU/Bouncer (6-21)
The Twins have gone with an interesting strategy to start the season - start RIcky Nolasco in every game. Let's see if it works out for them.....
