    Nebraska Recruiting

    2010 Outlook:

Pelini is banking on the '09 Big 12 Championship to attract better recruits and build a strong class for 2010. With 23 seniors graduating, 1 roster spot deficit and potentially losing a guy or two to transfer/pro draft the Cornhuskers are looking at 25 scholarships this year. The recruiting services are reporting that more high profile recruits are now looking at Nebraska. ESPN Recruiting Analysts believe that with such a large graduating class this year, incoming recruits see themselves having a legitimate shot of competing for playing time in 2011.

    Week 3 Injury Update:

Nebraska's trip to Seattle resulted in a 37-21 victory over the Washington Huskies, but it wasn't all good news for the people in Lincoln.

Starting QB Zac Lee is injured and out 4 weeks
Starting RB Castille, who is a beast on the field but is injury prone, is out 3 weeks

This is devastating news for the defending Big 12 champs, especially with the dangerous Virginia Tech Hokies visiting next week. Bo Pelini has to make some tough decisions and rely on his defense to carry the load for now.

    New Commander In Lincoln..

After the unexpected departure of former coach Theohiostatebuckeyes, new HC T2Express takes over a very talented ball club.

On the early mornings with sun just starting to peak over the eastern horizon, a familar sound is heard.. Tweet Tweet Tweet.. the whistle blows and a large group of men hit the turf. again another tweet the group springs up from the ground on a sprint. Tweet the group hits the turf again. The Husker Football team is getting in its brutal morning workout. Running rice patties at 6:35am, Coach T2Express tells his players "This is how you will feel in the 4th quarter!" "This is what you must over come to be Champions!" With what is the best group of players that Nebraska has seen since Tom Osborne, T2Express has had little time to explore the total potential of each player. Sweeping changes have been made with the Offense. T2Express brings in a balanced attack but with a twist. "We are going to pound the rock, we will pound the rock all the way to the Big 12 title game... then we will pound the rock to the national championship." However the Huskers will also maintain a high effective passing attack to keep teams off balance and unable to predict where the Husker offense will go with the ball.

    BLACKSHIRTS ARE BACK!

Nebraska has one of the best defenses in school history. They just havent played like it lately, but with Coach T2Express a defensive tactition be on the look out for the black shirts to be on the rise to the top. T2Express will stay with the 4-3 while going to a 4-2-5 look at times. The defensive line will the factor for the defense to be great and to keep the Huskers on route to winning a national title.
