New Member: CenTechsan Name:CenTechsan Age: 27 Gamertag/PSN (please state whether its PS or XBOX): Full Moon Fever (Xbox) Email:firstname.lastname@example.org AIM: don't have it, but could get it if it is needed by a league Time Zone: Central General Availability: 10pm-midnight weeknights, any time on weekends Favorite Teams:Texas Tech, UCLA, SMU, Idaho How did you hear about Tradition Football: Saw a post on Operation Sports 1. Have you ever played in any online leagues? What kind (NCAA, Madden, Forza, NBA, etc)? Where? I played in a few NCAA online leagues over the years. Mostly just set up on college messageboards, one set up from OS. 2. How long have you been playing video games? How long have you been playing online? Video games ever since I can remember. Online since xbox live came out. 3. What type of player would you say you are? I've coached high school football for the last four years, and I can't stand anything that's unrealistic about the game. I am as sim as it gets. 4. Our community consists of a more mature bunch and the average age is somewhere around 28-30 years old. How do you feel about any differences or similarities between our population and your age? I'm about to turn 28. I think I'd fit right in and am the demographic you are looking for. 5. Have you read the rules and general gameplay guidelines? Any questions or concerns? Nothing but questions on specific recruiting restrictions, but I'm sure those will vary from league to league. As far as gameplay, I understand what's realistic and what's not. 6. Please tell us a little about yourself. We want to get to know you and hope that you will be around for a long time. Here we go...My dad was a HS football coach in Texas and I thought that's all I ever wanted to do. Since graduating from Texas Tech, I have been coaching football in Texas for the last four years, the last two at powerhouse Southlake Carroll. This, however, has meant that during football season I haven't had any time for video games. Last week I accepted a job that is no longer coaching...just teaching. I just reached the point where as much as I loved coaching, I love my family more and I got tired of being on scouting trips to Miami and Houston for high school football. My new job will give me a lot more free time to spend with my family and also to enjoy my other hobbies, such as reading, gardening, and video games. 7. How active do you plan on becoming with the TF community? I am not going to live on the message boards, but I will check them most nights and I will enjoy making game summaries and write-ups. When I was in school, I was captain of the football team and also editor of the school newspaper (Small school...yeah...) So I frequently interviewed myself for sports stories after our games. I've always loved writing about sports. 8. What do you hope to get out of being a member at TF? I look to find people I can play online to get an enjoyable experience, win, lose, or draw. Some of the most fun games I've ever played have been games when I lost. Winning/Losing doesn't affect my enjoyment all that much. I find it enjoyable to try and figure out my opponents and finding and exploiting weaknesses. 9. Situation: You are participating in a league game when your opponent clearly breaks the league or site rules. What do you do? How do you handle the situation? First I would send the opponent a message telling him he's breaking a rule. If we can't rectify it ourselves, I would finish the game and fire off an email to the league commissioner about what happened. I would make sure to detail when in the game, quarter, score, etc. 10. Have you checked out the different leagues here at TF? Have you seen anything that you want to be a part of? I've looked at some of them. All posted leagues looked full, but I would be looking for a league that advances about twice a week, and I'd like to be Texas Tech but would be fine as long as all teams in the league are roughly the same caliber.
