New Member: cubillas Name: cubillas Age: 41 Gamertag/PSN (please state whether its PS or XBOX): cubillas (XBOX 360) Email: email@example.com AIM: Time Zone: EST General Availability: Evenings after 8:30 pm Favorite Teams: UF, GT, ND - but I never play as UF How did you hear about Tradition Football: Op Sports 1. Have you ever played in any online leagues? What kind (NCAA, Madden, Forza, NBA, etc)? Where? Yes - I commished an NCAA league two years ago, only made it through one season. 2. How long have you been playing video games? How long have you been playing online? 1977 Atari was the start. Been playing NCAA since Bill Walsh in 93. Not much of a stick jockey though. I simply don't have the time with two kids, business etc.. As for online play, I pretty much stopped two years ago when the NCAA online dynasties I was in both died. And I don't play much online otherwise. Just an occassional Madden game with a friend. I've stayed away from online games with random folks as the cheese level has taken the fun out. 3. What type of player would you say you are? Conservative play caller. Not so good with jukes, spins, etc.. Fairly decent at not throwing into double coverage, reading safeties, blitzes and audibling. Just want a realistic representation and hopefully some strategic fun. 4. Our community consists of a more mature bunch and the average age is somewhere around 28-30 years old. How do you feel about any differences or similarities between our population and your age? I would be considered an old fart - but I can live with that. 5. Have you read the rules and general gameplay guidelines? Any questions or concerns? None. It's encouraging. 6. Please tell us a little about yourself. We want to get to know you and hope that you will be around for a long time. Small business owner. Married, two wonderful young children. Live in Atlanta, graduated from UF. Looking for some sim football and some good natured ribbing. I've been occassionally posting on NCAA Strategies, MaddenMania, Utopia, Operation Sports, etc... since 1999. 7. How active do you plan on becoming with the TF community? Active enough to follow league boards etc... and possibly engage in some commentary about the game itself. 8. What do you hope to get out of being a member at TF?\ A consistent, mature, online league. 9. Situation: You are participating in a league game when your opponent clearly breaks the league or site rules. What do you do? How do you handle the situation? Probably let it slide the first time, then simply remind them via the mic about my understanding of the rules. If unresolved, then probably email the commish, while also copying the other player so they are in the loop. Don't really have time to do too much bickering, there are bigger things going on in my household. 10. Have you checked out the different leagues here at TF? Have you seen anything that you want to be a part of? Yes, several.
