    Name: Jake
    Age: 28
Gamertag/PSN (please state whether its PS or XBOX): Kornwillis/PSN
    Time Zone: Central
General Availability: Available in the afternoons and generally any time past 8
Favorite Teams: Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Blackhawks
How did you hear about Tradition Football: Found a link to it from a message board (operation sports).

    1. Have you ever played in any online leagues? What kind (NCAA, Madden, Forza, NBA, etc)? Where?
No, I've never played in an online league. I didn't even know you could play online multi-team dynasties until last year, when a few of my friends were discussing their Big 10 dynasty, which I found very intriguing.

    2. How long have you been playing video games? How long have you been playing online?
Started with an Atari when I was very little and have been playing ever since. The first game that I played online was Warcraft 2, and since then I've been an avid online gamer.

    3. What type of player would you say you are?
I appreciate a life-like representation of sports, so I try to play the teams as they would play.

    4. Our community consists of a more mature bunch and the average age is somewhere around 28-30 years old. How do you feel about any differences or similarities between our population and your age?
That seems to be right up my alley, since I fit that range.

    5. Have you read the rules and general gameplay guidelines? Any questions or concerns?
Yes. I understand the rules on mixing it up on offense, not just calling one play and giving different looks, but defensively some teams don't run a lot of plays (Iowa blitzs three times a year and runs just a base 4-3 with different line stunts depending on down and distance) so it seems like the rules governing the defense are to stringent.

    6. Please tell us a little about yourself. We want to get to know you and hope that you will be around for a long time.
I am an avid sports fan who was born and raised in Iowa City. I follow the Chicago Bears, Cubs, and the Blackhawks, but while I watch every Cubs/Bears game that I possibly can, I am by far and away a bigger Iowa fan. I'm currently going back to school at Iowa, and during my free time I generally game. In the past I've played MMO's like Shattered Galaxies, Lineage 2, and WoW, but currently I'm just playing Starcraft 2 and NCAA 11. Beyond gaming I bowl, golf, and ski.

    7. How active do you plan on becoming with the TF community?
I'm generally very active on the boards of games that I play. The biggest draw of playing games online is the community.

    8. What do you hope to get out of being a member at TF?
An introduction into playing competitive and long lasting dynasties across multiple games, but currently I only have NCAA 11.

    9. Situation: You are participating in a league game when your opponent clearly breaks the league or site rules. What do you do? How do you handle the situation?
The rules say to take highlights of the questionable plays then show them to the commissioner after finishing out the game. So I suppose that is what I would do.

    10. Have you checked out the different leagues here at TF? Have you seen anything that you want to be a part of?
Yes, I've looked through the postings of various leagues on the PS3 for NCAA 11. I would love to get into a fairly competitive dynasty built around a conference or two competing conferences.

GO Hawks! I live in Cedar Falls and am also a big Hawks fan. Anyways, about the rules it is true that the Hawks don't blitz a lot but the rules state "mix it up." This can be anything regarding coverages, formations, stunts, ect. So it basically means don't call 4-3 zone over and over again. You can stay in 4-3 and still run Cover 2,3,4, Man press, Man 2 under, and ect. So although the rules may sound tight, they are to prevent someone calling the same defense over and over again. All in all, be realistic with your playcalling, sets, and formations.

Application Approved. Welcome to TF Jake!
