    New Member Mizzourah2006

    Name: Nick Koenig
    Age: 27
Gamertag/PSN (please state whether its PS or XBOX): PS Mizzourah2006
    Email: nickkoenig11@gmail.com
AIM: nik5210 (not sure if this even still works, its been a while), but I do have gchat enabled for those who have gmail.
    Time Zone: Eastern
General Availability: Pretty much every evening
Favorite Teams: Missouri Tigers, Miami Hurricanes
How did you hear about Tradition Football: From operation sports, have heard nothing but good things. Once I found out this was a sim style group made up of older individuals I knew it was the place for me.

    1. Have you ever played in any online leagues? What kind (NCAA, Madden, Forza, NBA, etc)? Where?

I have not, I just purchased the PS3 (wedding gift to myself), I haven't been a big gamer the past couple of years.

    2. How long have you been playing video games? How long have you been playing online?

I have been playing video games, since nintendo, got away from them a little in college and now grad school, but the graphics and online dynasty mode have brought me back. I played a little socom online for the ps2 and played one of the madden's online back in like 2005 I believe, but stopped playing because of all the glitchers (constantly tapping juke to send the team into auto strafe, etc.)

    3. What type of player would you say you are?

I play the game to enjoy it. If I lose, I lose, its only a game. I enjoy being immersed in the realism that NCAA brings. The rivalries, the chance to go to a big bowl game, get a huge recruit, etc. I follow Mizzou and their recruiting daily in real life, so it is a chance for me to actually recruit that elite 11 quarterback.

    4. Our community consists of a more mature bunch and the average age is somewhere around 28-30 years old. How do you feel about any differences or similarities between our population and your age?

Like I mentioned above that is one of the main reasons I was interested in this forum, gamers my age that have gotten over the desire to win at all costs.

    5. Have you read the rules and general gameplay guidelines? Any questions or concerns?

I have read the rules and gameplay guidelines and think they are spot on to what I am looking for.

    6. Please tell us a little about yourself. We want to get to know you and hope that you will be around for a long time.

I attended Mizzou for undergrad, graduated in 2006 (hence Mizzourah 2006). I am just recently married, met her when I moved down, and that's all I can think of right now. Look forward to meeting other individuals that enjoy college football!
    7. How active do you plan on becoming with the TF community?

As active as I can be, studying takes up a lot of my time, but I check forums daily for my sports teams, so I am active when it comes to discussions and will definitely make my games.

    8. What do you hope to get out of being a member at TF?

I hope to get an enjoyable experience playing in an OD with more than just myself :) and hopefully meet some people I can become friends with.

    9. Situation: You are participating in a league game when your opponent clearly breaks the league or site rules. What do you do? How do you handle the situation?

I think the commissioner of the league should be notified and the entire league should be made aware of the infringement. This way other individuals in the league will be aware of the rules that were broken and be able to help monitor future problems. However, I think all individuals should be given more than one chance, there is always the possibility that rule was overlooked by said individual.

    10. Have you checked out the different leagues here at TF? Have you seen anything that you want to be a part of?

I have not. I used to be a big Madden fan, but have always been more of a college football fan. For the time being I think I am going to focus on NCAA, but am always open to new leagues and games.

Great application Nick. Glad you found us at TF. I actually found myself researching Mizzou a bit after playing with them in the demo and chatting with another member here that is using them for a league. Freshmen QB James Franklin quickly became my favorite QB on the mizzou roster. Anyways, welcome and be sure to check the new member lounge for announcements on leagues, openings, and ect!

Thanks, I'm glad I found this forum too. Yeah, I really like how they made the quick passing routes more possible in this year's game. I haven't had NCAA since 08 for the ps2, but quick, short routes were almost impossible to complete, making Mizzou's offense obsolete. I think James Franklin is going to be good. I haven't seen him play, but a lot of people are saying he reminds them of Brad Smith with an arm, if that is the case, he could be very fun to watch in the coming years.

Are you an Iowa fan? I spend a lot of time in undergrad in Iowa City...my girlfriend throughout college attended the University of Iowa. Awesome city, I had a blast every time I went up there.
