    Name: surly74.
    Age: 37ish
Gamertag/PSN (please state whether its PS or XBOX): surly74 on PS3
    Time Zone: Eastern
General Availability for User vs User games: usually in the evening after 9:00 and the little ones go to bed
Favorite Teams: the Atom minor football team I head coach, then the Michigan Wolverines. Then anyone playing OSU and Sparty
How did you hear about Tradition Sports: i stalk, lurk on MGOBLOG and there was a thread in the forum section.

    1. Have you ever played in any online leagues? What kind (NCAA, Madden, Forza, NBA, etc)? Where? I never have. I play the dynasties in the NCAA series but want something a bit more realistic, after a while you see patterns in the offline dynasty. i'm not 100% convinced i want to play in an online league yet, biggest thing is time commitments but want to see what's out there.

    2. How long have you been playing video games? How long have you been playing online? video games? since the days of 'press play on tape' on C64's. Online since i got the PS3 and a wireless router. 3 or 4 years ago. i play online shooter games, played some NCAA online but got tired of kids running the same crap all the time.

    3. What type of player would you say you are? i'm a realist. if it makes sense in a real game i'll do it in a video game. meaning i actually punt and don't for it on 4th and 15 on my own 5 and then when it is incomplete hit the off button. i love option football in real life and like to play it in a video game. if it's 4th and 1 at midfield it might make sense to go for it and i may.

    4. Our community consists of a more mature bunch and the average age is somewhere around 28-30 years old. How do you feel about any differences or similarities between our population and your age? i'm higher than that but it's not a big deal.

    5. Have you read the rules and general gameplay guidelines? Any questions or concerns? everything seems reasonable and spelled out. makes sense.

    6. Please tell us a little about yourself. We want to get to know you and hope that you will be around for a long time. I'm odd because I'm Canadian and like football (US College) more than hockey. the football is the odd part, not the Canadian part. I'm a father, husband, football coach, and a software salesman. i like realistic games, realistic from terms of gameplay first and visuals second.

    7. Fitting into the community is vital to the experience here at TSO. How do you see yourself fitting into our community? i think pretty well. i'm a sports fan with alot to say. there aren't alot of forums or online communities for college football here (canada or that i'm part of), at least i've found, so this seems right up my alley. i enjoy debates as long as they stay debatey and don't degenerate into personal attack volleys. I don't say anything online that i wouldn't say in a face to face conversation. i'm humorous and not afraid to poke fun at myself.

    8. What do you hope to get out of being a member at TSO? i'm part of online communities, forums for all my other hobbies, interests but for football. good talk about about my favorite game with people that appreciate it. plus my wife will prefer me talking to you guys then to her about this.

    9. Situation: You are participating in a league game when your opponent clearly breaks the league or site rules. What do you do? How do you handle the situation? first talk to my opponent about what happened. find out what they say first. will it happen again? why did they do it? after that conversation i gauge what i will do next, is it a chronic breaking of the rules? then i probably say something to admins. we're supposed to be adults, lets handle it like adults.

    10. Have you checked out the different leagues here at TSO? Which leagues (if any) are you interested in? What is your preferred league setup? not yet. i will. i don't know what my preferred setup is yet.

Welcome Jeff. Most of our wives/girlfriends prefer that we take this sort of stuff elsewhere. So you aren't alone.

    Welcome to TSO. Application approved.
