Since PES related threads are being posted here, I figure this would be the place to post this. I've played New Star Soccer on PC back in the day. It had been really fun times. This is a simple and yet detailed soccer RPG in a way. Some of you guys would probably love the career mode. Couple days ago, I got an email stating its on mobile devices now. I downloaded it without a thought. I really really recommend giving it a shot. It may not be that attractive on PC with options like FIFA and PES being around, but definitely a fun game to carry in your pocket. http://www.newstarsoccer.com/ Connor would appreciate this probably since he is into that kind of modes. elprez98 hammerhead1010 The Richuation AJ Hart MN JFace907 niuhuskie224 Krebstar425 Virulentmeteor5 Randiesel75 MoonBBad I don't know who else. This was my addiction at some point. Mobile is different in gameplay. But it's a little necessary. Nicely adapted though. Great for times I have kill some time on the phone.
That how I used to play on PC. That's a lot of fun too. And I like that a lot for many reasons, but the way he did the mobile version it makes sense, it's a little more express version and has its positives and negatives compared with the full play. If FIFA game play was combined with the RPG components of NSS, that would be the ultimate awesomeness.
That occured twice for me and I'm in a very low division of the english league. I am already addicted to this game. 99 cents on the iPhone and you get hours of play. Being the picky person I am I did notice the flaw that in the MLS you only play 16 games and only play the teams in either the east or the west, whichever one you are in. So there is no playoffs. Oh well I won't play in the MLS. I can deal with it I prefer the iPhone though. The Mac costs 19.99 for play and the gameplay is a lot more difficult.
I constantly get newsletters from the guy that does it. They have discounts here and there. If it goes down for the Mac version I will let you know in case you wanna have that too. At this point with console being a good option I find the iphone version a lot more useful for myself. Price is a no brainer for sure. It's European based so they probably didn't really pay much attention to MLS. I am in the English league as well. I like how it starts so low and you can make it up. I already got a few transfer offers in the first window mid season but I blew them by bad negotiations cos I had started the career to just see what it was like on the phone and did a bunch of trial stuff, spent money like an idiot at the casino and stuff. So I'll probably restart again and play it like I normally play. Not do things like spend all my money at black jack and not have energy for next game.
I'm in my second season as well. USA isn't giving me any games yet. They've played 4 in the World Cup Qualifying. My team was terrible my first season and didn't get promoted. I went ahead and went to a new team and am now 1 division higher. We'll see how the season goes and determine if I want to transfer again. I like how you start low as well. Its a little more realistic. Although it would be cool to be on a team like Man U and be loaned as wel. But I guess we can only dream.
It is more than pretty cool. It is damn addicting. Connor You are probably having a different experience than I am. I will share what happened with me just so you know. At the end of my first season I got an offer from a team that just got promoted to the upper division. Somehow I worked my way to rip them off a 6*/2* per game (vs my initial 1*/1*) contract. The team and I personally had a terrible start to the season, I think 0 points in the first 3 games. There was a newspaper article saying I'm getting paid too much and fans want me outa there, and I don't even look like I care on the field. (Which I kinda didn't cos I was saving energy when we were terribly down to improve my skills ). Then a few games later they were booing me which led to me losing possession by stumbling the ball and stuff and not even getting a chance while I was supposed to. It's pretty cool shit happening.
I've seen some of that as well. When you first change teams if you dot make time with fans you get booed and never get chances. Especially later in the game if you are having a bad game. I'm in my third season and am in the league 1. Haven't won anything but have a contract that is 11 star/ 3 star plus 6 star sponsor. Lots of money.
Connor Its going good, trying to balance everything feel like I need to focus more on skills though. I just turned level 4. How are your alls going?
I started in the US just because I knew all these teams. I don't know any low division english teams, but I'm thinkin maybe I should have done that. Whats your current contract?
You should have done that just since you get about twice as many games per season. my contract is 11 wage/3 goal bonus/6 sponsor
I'm past half way my second season, 4* on mid table L2 team (I transferred from Conf Nat team as soon as I got an offer, I had to get out of there like the fans said, I just couldn't get anything going on). With my new team I'm back to better play. Gameplay has changed from the low division days I feel like. Defense seems to get in the way better in higher divisions. My contract is 6w/2g/4s. Connor is a richer boy than I am seems like. I hope to start my 3rd season in a L1 team.
