    New TV!

Well figured it was time for a new tv, I had a RCA 61" Rear Projection HDTV. Just bought,er...financed a Samsung LN52A630 52" 1080P 120hz LCD HDTV.

Yeah I go down 9", but I have a feeling that will be perfectly fine, seeing as how the picture should be alot better. I didnt get a chance to see the TV in person, but I have read alot of reviews on the set. It was also the best one I could finance, lol.

I can finally run 1080p!!! My TV now only supports 480p and 1080i. When set to 1080i, everything is screwed...lot of overscan and the image bends on the corners and bows out in the middle. I tried myself several times to fix this, even went into the service menu, to no avail. So I've been running everything in 480p.

Now, I need to buy a new xbox 360, with the hdmi jack on the back, and order some hdmi cables for my other equipment.

the TV you bought does it come with component hook ups or just the 3 HDMI? if it does come with component you can just use your regular xbox you dont need to buy a new but you will be running in 1080i not p. If i were you i would buy a surround sound system depending on the sound quality of the speakers but i always worry about LCD speakers since the TVs are so thin.

Yeah it has components, gonna try that and vga and see which one runs best for now, but I had plan to buy an elite anyway, so no this just gives me more reason too.

Yeah also looking into a surround sound system.
