Power Rankings: Preseason 1. 6-3 (2-2) The Seahawks have gone 3-2 since the last power rankings. The defense has been letting teams run all over them. DeAngelo McClaine has continued his MVP season. For SEA to keep winning they'll need to have the defense step up and Wilson needs to get WRs involved more in the passing game. 2. 5-4 (3-1) A last second win over the Rams moves the 49ers into the second spot. The defense has been playing lights out and coming up with big plays. The run game is still going strong even with Gore being out. Kaepernick will need to start making some big plays for the 49ers to keep on winning. 3. 4-5 (1-2) Rams moved down one position due to the home loss against SF. Home loses have been a huge problem for St. Louis as they are 0-3. With playing in a dome Greg Zuerlein should easily make 67 yard field goals. Hunter just needs to get them to the 50 to put up some points. 4. 3-6 (2-3) Arizona still is in the final spot out west. The Cardinals have the opposite problem of the Rams as they are 3-1 at home but 0-5 on the road. Randle has cut down on his interceptions which helps out the offense. The defense needs to start making some more big plays for the wins to start coming more frequently. Game Ball Week 1: Frank Gore 26-Att 119-Yds 1-TD Week 2: Marshawn Lynch 29-Att 159-Yds 1-TD Week 3: DeAngelo McClaine 4-Rec 97-Yds 2-TD Week 4: Michael Crabtree 4-Rec 96-Yds 1-TD Week 5: Najee Hunter 15-Att 141-Yds 1-TD Week 6: DeAngelo McClaine 7-Rec 152-Yds 2-TD Week 7: DeAngelo McClaine 4-Rec 154-Yds 2-TD Week 8: Ryan Williams 21-Att 173-Yds 2-TD Week 9: Chris Culliver 5-Tak 1-TFl 2-INT 1-TD Week 10: Marshawn Lynch 30-Att 153-Yds 2-TD Week 11: Patrick Willis 6-Tak 2-TFL 1-Sack 1-PDef 1-FFum 1-FRec Week 12: Colin Kaepernick 22/26 85% 293-Yds 5-TD 1-INT Week 13: Russell Wilson 25/31 81% 285-Yds 3-TD 1-INT Week 14: Frank Gore 16-Att 133-Yds 2-TD Week 15: Russell Wilson 11/12 230-Yds 4-TD Week 16: Week 17: ARI: 1 (Week 8) STL: 1 (Week 5) SF: 6 (Week 1, Week 4, Week 9, Week 11, Week 12, Week 14) SEA: 7 (Week 2, Week 3, Week 6, Week 7, Week 10, Week 13, Week 15)

The rookie did well in his first game. He was 19/30 for 277 yards and had 2 TD's and one pick. He even threw a TD to go ahead with about a minute left. Unfortunately, there was enough time left for a game winning field goal from St. Louis.

He won't. I will have to try to work on loosening up his running attack, but he at least can run if he has to. By the way, thanks for the 2nd rounder that allowed me to take him in the 4th instead of the 3rd.

Three players made a case for the week 2 game ball. St. Louis WR Andrew Conley had 5 catches for 130 yards and 1 TD. Arizona TE Todd Heap had 142 yards on 3 catches with 1 TD. Finally Marshawn Lynch had 29 carries for 159 yards and 1 TD versus the Redskins. After some thought this weeks award will go to Beast Mode.

Had I done my game recap a bit sooner a different Seahawks may have snagged the award .... my MLB Bobby Wagner had 8 tackles , 2 FF 1 INT .... In 1 & 3/4 quarters of football before getting hurt

WOW. I look at the defense stats on the website and didn't notice he had 2 FF and an INT. Might have to use the game from now on.

I love Conley. He's only rated in the high 60s but all of his receiving attributes are solid. His awareness is < 50 otherwise bed probably be rated mid 70s. Put a pretty nice double move on the Giants corner for his touchdown.

Week 3 game ball performances. Rookies made big splashes this week as SEA TE DeAngelo McClaine had 4 catches 97 yards and 2 TD versus Carolina. STL HB Najee Hunter had 114-Yds on 24-Att and 1 TD. A defensive player makes an appearance as SEA DT Brandon Mebane had 4 sacks. Game ball goes to....McClaine. After week 4 will see the first update to the power rankings.

I don't think it's worth sandbagging when you would only get 3 seasons or so out of the draft picks. I've only played four games of Madden this year and haven't figured out how to run yet.

Not many big games this week for players in the NFC West. Everyone was pretty average. Here are the contenders: Frank Gore 20-att 90-Yds 1-TD Michael Crabtree 4-Rec 96-Yds 1-TD Week 4 game ball goes to Crabtree.
