    NFL Draft in Atlantic City

    Hey all,

We're getting close to NFL draft time again, and once again we'll hopefully be meeting up in Atlantic City for a good ol "Guys night out". A little twist this year, the NFL has decided to split the draft over 3 days. Round 1 is on a Thursday night, 2-3 on Friday night, and 4-7 on Saturday (I believe). So, with that, it might be a little different this year...

Styk and I were talking, and I have talked a bit to Ted as well. Bobby figures we make plans to be down there for Friday afternoon, hit the usual dinner, drink and watch the draft. We then have all night for the casinos, and Saturday as well. Anyone who can't make it on Friday (work or whatever) can meet down on Saturday.

I know a few of you have expressed interest, and we've had a good time during past meetups. For those who are serious about coming, you can certainly fly into Atlantic City (relatively cheap as well). We can always pick up / drop off. Newark and Philly airports are also within driving distance, and we are local to both airports. Rooms aren't a big deal depending on where we stay.

So... If you are interested in meeting up, watching the draft, drinking, gambling and having a good time, c'mon out and meet up with us.

Not including Hotels and or a ride.

Ride = Free... If you can fly into Newark, Philly, or AC I'm sure we can accomodate you guys. Try looking at all 3 airports.

Regarding rooms, I'll look into it. You can go cheap if you don't stay in one of the Casinos, or split rooms, etc... Lots of options. We'll look things over and let you know.

As far as where we may go, the Casino of choice this year for the Draft is probably going to be the Borgata. Those not farmilliar with AC, the Borgata is the nicest one down there...and when I say that, I don't mean most expensive (it probably is anyway), I mean it's the one we will enjoy the most. The dealers at the tables are SUPER Cool. The Waitresses that walk around are SMOKING Hot, and when you ask for a Beer while playing at a table, or Slot, or whatever...they Bring you a FULL BEER. Not a dixie cup, like some other places. Not to mention the restaurants are Kick Ass.

Anywhere you stay down there is going to be at least $200 for the Friday Night stay. Anywhere else you stay for less than that, the reason is that the Roaches picked up the difference. And besides, if you were to save 20, or 40 bucks on the room, you'd dump that right back into cab fare to get from where ever you would be staying to Borgata. The Borgata is NOT on the Boardwalk like some of the other casinos, it's on the Bay. So a Cab ride will be necessary.

If you would like to check out the website, it should be borgata.com. The "B Bar" is most likely where we will watch the Draft. It's a Bar with TVs in the middle of the Casino Floor. It's "blocked off" by curtains, and they have couches/comfy chairs around the bar. We can sort of "rope off our own area", and table too. All Waitresses wear push up bras...can I say that on these forums?

    I digress.

Anywho, If you are Serious about coming, and like Scar and Hoyt would have to fly in, I will offer to pick you up at Philly Airport, as long as you can get in on Friday before 2 PM. I would like to be in AC by 4, and it's about an hour and 10 minute ride from Philly Airport. Mags can handle anyone coming into Newark, NJ. If you can fly into AC International, Mags and I will figure out how to get you to us.

I would like to get a head count, because I would like to make reservations for dinner. It's pretty tough to just walk in on a Friday Night down there and get a table.

Also, this is a MEGA trip...so if you are trolling this thread, and you are not a member of MEGA...or I don't know you, beat it. I know too many people, and don't care to know anymore.

Well Hoyt and I have been looking at prices and it seems we may be on the way.

Only thing is it hard to find a flight out of Atlantic City, other than one at around 6 pm but if we go from Newark its a bit cheaper, Styk has said he can pick us up in Philly but would Mags be able to take us to Newark for the flight out?

otherwise its the flight from AC which the price round trip isnt bad, at about 270 per person round trip.

Sorry, I missed this Scar... Yeah, a ride up to Newark isn't a prob, though it's a little bit of a hike depending on when you'd fly out. You have to leave a TON of time to fly out of there, as opposed to AC which is pretty much in and out b/c of the size of the airport. Let us know what you are planning and we'll start solidifying our plans.

I'll be there, although I think a boardwalk casino might be a better experience for guys coming in from out of town. Caesars is nice and right in the middle of everything, but that would require Stykman to get off his high Borgata horse. There are plenty of hot women to see in other areas of AC, if that's all you're interested in.

Someone hasn't seen "AC Hookers" on HBO...

But I digress... Either way is good with me. Borgata is certainly the best of the bunch down there, but the Trop is great, etc...

So long as we get er done!

Plenty of Hot Women with 4 teeth.

Borgata is the closest thing to Vegas there is in AC. The staff, the dealers, everything is done the Right Way. There's no high horse. I've stayed at just about all of the casinos down there, Borgata is the best.
