    NFL Week 1 Thoughts

-Watched the Texans and Jets game....Wow. I dont know if the Jets defense and offense are that good or if Houston is that bad. They did a nice job early but the Texans lost a fumble in the redzone and also dropped 2 Sanchez pic's.

-McNabb left todays route of Carolina with a Cracked rib..Not good. Vick looked concerned from the press box but Im sure he is smiling inside. Wonder how long McNabb is out???

    - Drew Bree's throws for 6 TD's

    - How about the end of the bengals- Broncos match. Bengals score a late TD to take a 7-6 lead. They drop a Broncos pick with 30 seconds left. The next play, Orton's pass gets tipped up by a defender only to end up in his WR's hands with no one in front of him for a crazy TD.

Stokley's catch was great. Why did they add 18 seconds back to the clock after Cincy's td.

Also leads to my question. Wouldn't we call it cheesing to put a WR/TE in prevent defense, like the Broncos did today?

I also had to play vs. Brees in FF but thankfully I had AP. Now if Grant can do anything tonight I will be in business.
That was just the Bengals being the Bengals.

I have Grant too. By the looks of it early I would say he isn't going to do anything spectacular.

the lions still have no defense

and that call on calvin johnson was BULLSHIT.

he clearly didnt step out of bounds, that would have won my fantasy game

Talking about bullshit calls, illegal contact against Al Harris, I'm sorry Hester is a Cabbage Patch Doll but that was BS. Good thing Harris got the last laugh! Tried to buy the only Bears fan in the bar a beer but instead he left. Also I'm voting the TD pass to Jennings as the greatest opening week play call ever.

Arizona looked aweful. They played just like they did in preseason. Is it me or did Kurt Warner just look real OLD.

    1. Mark Sanchez is not that good.

    2. I would still take Cutler over Orton everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. THey just need to actually use their best player more, Matt Forte.

    3. Adrian Peterson is by FAR the best player at any position in the NFL.

    4. Matt Leinart will be picked up by many fantasy owners this week.

    5. Shaun Hill is just plain awful, lets see Alex Smith one more time.

    6. The Rams may be just as bad as the Lions last year.

    7. The fake FG the Redskins ran was ran to perfection

    8. Rex Grossman sighting in Houston next week?

    9. Just seeing C. Williams play is great, but with how great he ran that is even better.

    10. Drew Brees will break all of Peyton Mannings records this year.

    True!

    True!

    10. "Drew Brees will break all of Peyton Mannings records this year."
False and True! Tom Brady has the record for most TD's in a single season, Marino has record for most passing yards in a season and Favre has most of the career records. The only records Manning holds are most products endorsed on TV and the most big games choked away by an elite QB. Brees will not break either of those records.

Was it Cutler being that bad, the O-line letting guys in on every single play, or the Bears receivers looking downright putrid?

Dom Capers defense made the Bears offense look like crap.

Yes, they were raving about how great of shape Urlacher was in this year and poised to have a big year. Too bad.

Should I start Favre as well as AP this week versus the Lions? Obviously I will start AP but will Favre also torch the Lions?
