Top 5 or Bottom 5 contracts in the Dugout:
To qualify for this list, the player had to have atleast 3 yearsleft on contract.

    #5 - Albert Pujols (1B - LAA)
    Remaining Contract: 5yr(26M,27,28,29,30)
Pujols is not at all a bad player. He is coming off back to back 3+ WAR seasons. The problem is he is 37 and still has 5 years on the deal. Come age 40, I think Norezn will be hoping Pujols does him a favor and hangs up the cleats.
    #4 - Asdrubal Cabrera (SS - CLE)
    Remaining Contract: 6yrs(20M, 6th TO)
Cabrera got a big pay day due to his career year in 2014. Cabrera put together a .367 wOBA and 5.1 season. After the big pay day, it looks like Cabrera has decided that rehabing while getting paid 20M isn't such a bad idea. JFace907 can't be happy too see Cabrera playing in only 95 games the last 2 years, that along with the degrading defense puts Cabrera at #4 on the countdown.
    #3 - Troy Tulowitski ( SS - BOS)
    Remaining Contract: 4yr(20M, 4th TO)
Since showing up in Boston 3 years ago, Tulo has a grand total of .8 WAR to go with a sub .300 wOBA. The good news for Boston fans is that the glove hasn't gone away yer, but for 20M a year that's not enough.
    #2 - Ryan Braun (OF - MIL)
    Remaining Contract: 5yr(19,19,18,16,15(TO))
Oh, how the might Braun has fallen. Former NL MVP and ROY, Braun is spending his 19M this year listening to same great country music in Nashville(AAA). Braun has seen his power rating drop to "40". Hasn't broken the 100 GS mark since 2012. BigSmooth33 will have to watch Braun collect a fat check for years to come.
    #1 - Joey Votto (1B - PHI)
    Remaining Contract: 7YR(22,25,25,25,25,25,20)
One of the bigest waiver blunders in MLB history. Philly picked up Votto in August of 2015. Coming off a .319 wOBA and .4 WAR season, Votto is struggling again in 2017 (.271 wOBA). Once an elite hitter in the league (70/65/65), has now become a 20M replacement player (55/55/65). Good thing Philly has a 80M media contract, because Votto will be wasting money for many years to come

The thing that makes the least sense about Braun'a rapid decline is how none of the injuries are cumulative... It was a shoulder, knee, hand:..

Would think some gas would be left in the tank... But NOOOOOOOO...

Only a couple months left with Matt Cain's contract and then the floodgates open for the Giants in free agency.
