    1. Redskins
    (10-3)

Hard to see Washington dropping another game unless Rulah goes auto. Still the cream of the crop and still the guy to beat in RS. Will at the very least get a bye.

    Projected 13-3

    2. Bears
    (9-4)

The drama continues in the NFC when the improving as the year goes on Vikings upset the Bears in week 13. Chicago still has to go through the Browns and the Eagles to clinch that second bye spot. Look for their week 16 match-up against the Eagles to major playoff implications for the NFC.

    Projected 11-5

    3. 49ers
    (8-5)

Crowe struck gold when both the Seahawks and Rams fell off the last few weeks. It looks like the 49ers saved their playoff chances since their remaining schedule has the Bucs, Falcons and Cards. Look for the week 15 game against the Bucs to have a huge payoff for the winner.
    Projected 11-5

    4. Buccaneers
    (6-7)

Hanging on by a thread is Tampa Bay. Best Name Ever has had a plague of injuries and needs to play his best down the stretch in order to win the NFC South. They have the 49ers and Rams left and need to win both considering the Panthers have an easier schedule. Tampa probably has the better team but I think the Panthers still get in unless they collapse against the lesser teams.

    Projected 7-9

    5. Lions
    (9-4)

The Lions went from having the #1 seed in the NFC to the fourth with an epic loss to the Eagles in week 14. Detroit has a very easy schedule with the Ravens and Giants left. The Vikings get them in week 17 and they have been on fire lately and hoping for teams to fall off and get that last wildcard spot. Anything can happen but look for Detroit to grab 2 out of three here and get in. The Redskins are becoming big Chicago fans in the last couple of weeks since they have a tie-break against the Bears but not Detroit.

    Projected 11-5

    6. Eagles
    (8-5)

Philly is hanging on by a thread but has played great down the stretch by beating Detroit and having a 7-2 NFC record, which bodes well for them in a tie-break situation and makes everyone in the NFC worried about them getting in. They play stout defense against the pass but have the Bears and Vikings coming up and both can beat you on the ground. If they can find a way to beat both of them look for them to get in but they need help from NFC West teams as well.

    Projected 10-6

    Outside Looking In...

    Rams

They have the Saints, Bucs, and Seahawks left...look for that week 17 match-up against their division rival to be a BIG one! Hard to see it but they could do it but must win all three. 8-8
    Vikings

Have been maybe the hottest team in the league lately and look to maybe sneak in but need the Lions, Seahawks, and Eagles to fall apart. They also have the Bengals, Eagles and Lions left but it maybe too little to late for them. If they win all three of these games then look out. 9-7
    Panthers

They have the Jets, Saints and Falcons left. They should win the NFC south but the funny thing is that the Saints and Falcons are not out of it either with both 4-9 records, if the Bucs lost the rest of their games too. Look for Carolina to get it done though since the schedule is easier than Tampa's. 8-8

    Seahawks
The Seahawks had their shot but lost to the 49ers in week 14. They have the best shot at getting in though with only the Giants, Rams and Cardinals left. They currently do not have the tiebreak with Philly and Minnesota and even Carolina so anything can happen but I think they win out regardless and maybe knock the 49ers out of the race with the better division record despite splitting the series. 11-5

    1. Dolphins
    (10-3)

Nothing much has changed here...still the team to beat in the AFC but have a massive game this week against the Patroits to determine who wins the AFC East and maybe the home field advantage through the playoffs. Oneshot and Awall are no strangers to each other so look for it to be a good one. Still have the red hot Bills and the Jets too making this division maybe the toughest.

    2. Browns
    (9-4)

Cleveland has an interesting position to get a bye but has the Bears, Jets and Steelers left. With the Titans and Broncos hot on their heels for that bye spot it will be tough for all teams involved to pull it off and with the Bengals playing great they can't afford any slip ups. They'll get into the playoffs but if it's a bye or a wildcard remains to be seen
    Projected 11-5

    3. Titans
    (9-5)

Tennessee has a real shot at playing into a very nice playoff spot or not making it altogether. They should get in though but do not have the tie-break against the Broncos and have to win the last game against the Texans in order to clinch the AFC South. Should get it done since they have the Jags and Texans left. Texans do have the tie-break if they win though...
    Projected 10-6

    4. Broncos
    (8-5)
The Broncos started the year as the hottest team then they fell off but maybe saved their season with a commanding win over the Titans in week 14. With the Chargers, Texans and Raiders left it could come down to the week 17 match-up against Oakland for a playoff spot. I still think Legend will get it done but it will not be a cakewalk either.
    Projected 10-6

    5. Patroits
    (10-3)

Oneshot has his fate in his own hands. Has Bills, Ravens and Dolphins in the last three games. Will take maybe 2 of those for sure but needs all three for the division which will not be easy by any means. The funny thing is that he can have a 12-4 record and be a wildcard!
    Projected 12-4

    6. Bengals
    (8-5)

They maybe not the "6 seed" right now but really are. They have the tie-break against the Bills and the Texans for that last spot in the playoffs. Winning the last 2 AFC games will be key for SnakeEyes against the Steelers and Ravens to ensure a playoff tie-break against the Texans. The Texans can knock the Bengals out by winning their last 3 AFC games so it can get very complicated in the AFC still.

    Outside looking In....

    Bills
They have their work cut out for them with the Patroits and Dolphins ahead of them still. A bad outlook for them is their conference record, which isn't very good compaired to the other AFC playoff teams. In my opinion the Bills need to win both of their AFC east contests here to have a shot. 9-7

    Raiders
Have a real shot at getting in but must beat the Broncos and win out. With the Chiefs under Awinkler and having tie-breaks in head to head against the Titans and Texans they have a real shot but it's too much really. 8-8

    Texans
See Bengals entry above and have the Broncos, Titans, and Colts still. Can still win division and knock the Titans into the clusterf%ck for the last spot...could get interesting here. 10-6

    Colts
Had their shot but fell apart in the end. Has to win the last three to even smell postseason. 8-8

Sure, that will be easier to do than sort out 16 different teams.
