    Notice any difference?

We've been on the new server for about a week now... want to get some feedback on performance.

I know we still have some coding bugs that appear at the top of pages at times... but we are working on those. Just want an overall assessment of the change in hosting setup.

    how's it workin for ya?

It's been great. I have had a timeout here and there, but I think that's due to my connection to the net, not the site.

Only glitch I've noticed is when you edit your reply you have to hit the edit button twice. Not a big deal to me and it could be something on my end anyways.

no, that is a bug on our end... we know about and are working on it. Sometimes these things are needles in the haystack and it take a bit to get them ironed out.

I haven't been able to edit posts at all. I hit the edit button and it just stays thinking. Other than that it's working great for me.

I noticed we are getting ads for manual breast pumps in our banner. Trying to increase our female membership?

the ads look at your internet history to find what might best suite you based on your browsing habits....

I'm having no problems at all. When I go to edit/make new thread it may say warning but it'll still let me do it.

LOL, thats good stuff. This is on my work computer. I know the wife and I work together, and we have been talking about another kid recently, but I don't know if she has been baby surfing on my computer. If so, i'll have to tell her to cut it out. I want my "manly" ads back. To a somewhat related topic, great job on the changeover. It was weird being w/o TF, but it made me go out in the garage and start working on my car again. Seems as though that will become a habit again for me. It has been a little while since I have had any drive to work on it.

No problems since the change. Does the ads really look at your internet history & give you what your browsing habits are?

they do to a certain extent... they look at alot of things, the content in thread your looking at, your history but they also have quota's for certain ads so they will get thrown in there regardless of the other variables...

so the short answer is yes, sometimes your history is utilized to present you with applicable advertising.

I get a banner ad from volusion once in a while and I have a small website with them, so I'm sure that has something to do with it since i'm in the admin area of volusion alot...
