Pushing for Paydirt I am creating this thread for an easy, league-wide notices. The first issue I need to address is the no-huddle offense. I had not gotten around to posting this before week 1 so for that, I apologize. But the no-huddle offense is banned outside of these specific circumstances: O.3.0 - Hurry Up Offense: All teams are allowed to run the "hurry up" offense in both two minute drill situations. Any team losing in the 4th quarter is permitted to hurry up as often as they like. When using the hurry up offense, please allow your opponent to set their defense before snapping the ball. Purposely trying to cause offsides penalties or taking advantage of defensive AI is not allowed. However, PFP will be striking the additional notice that follows in the TSO's general rules, that allows for teams to run it if it's part of their system. To me, the no-huddle system as built in the game currently does not allow for the defense even the slim flexibility present in-real life and can also create AI problems for the defense (mismatched coverage assignments, etc.). As well as positioning problems. While miles ahead last year, I still have seen 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB personnel have the WR lineup at the TE position. To say nothing of making the game far too reminiscent of playing the CPU. Again, the no-huddle shall be permitted to the losing side in the entirety of the 4th quarter, and in both 2 minute drill situations. I, in no way, believe anyone has done this intentionally and I did not make this ruling clear outside of brief conversations in the CB. This was not posted in the rules so no one is in the wrong for this. Please affirm that you have read and acknowledged this notice. Thanks.
