So far Keller, DirtyDylan, and COlemanchu have been doing this.

It is considered the hardest enigma on the net. Over 15 million attempts and only 20 people have ever done it (that's low percentage)!

    Anyways here is the url:http://www.deathball.net/notpron/

post your questions here and help, but no spoilers please.

Here are my early techniques for help: Don't QUIT! I need help on higher levels....I know you guys are smart.

    1. 1 minute ago - Gyrene76:
First....always read the url and take note of what it says
    2. A moment ago - Gyrene76:
second read the entire page and check all over....i usually highlight the entire screen too just in case something is written in black and you can't see it otherwise
    3. A moment ago - Gyrene76:
3rd view page source...it usually has the most important hints
    4. A moment ago - Gyrene76:
just right click and view page source, leave it open in another tab too....you'll go to it a lot

    Here are some updated hints:

    The rules to the riddle:
-Try all to get to the next level, don’t be limited to the picture or to the browser (but don’t try to hack the server. ;))
-There are never spaces in passwords, and all are lowercase (no CAPITAL LETTERS).
-When you are in need for a username and a password you will in most cases get both at the same time. So you will not be able to say that you got the username but you are looking for the password. An exception is Level 13, but that’s it.
Usernames are not real names. You just have to find out 2 words to put in for username and password.
-Most important, don’t limit yourself to the mouse. You have a keyboard, you have other programs on your computer, you have internet (to search and download stuff).

-You should use Internet Explorer. Other browsers do not always work.
-Write down all usernames and passwords, and don’t forget to bookmark your last level (or all).
-Make up your mind about source codes.
-There is a google search bar in all levels, which require google for most people (when external knowledge is needed). Sometimes you’ll need it as well when it’s not there, but then it’s about common knowledge.

-The URL of the next level has nothing to do with the current one.

Yeah, that's what I got to before I had to leave for class, I'll be working on it more later I'm sure. These things can get pretty addicting.

I knew you would be good.

I knew what Ascii was just because its so basic. I've used it a lot for french symbols (i.e. ALT+130, 133) in philosophy papers. But there are some difficult, difficult ones later with programming that you are probably good at.

The whole time I was thinking, I wish shaun was playing this to help me here, lol. This guy who made this is very computer savvy. I just don't want some dude looking up the answers and telling us he's on level 30 on day one. It's easy to look them up and takes all the fun out of it completely.

    for example,

level 8 was probably not too hard for you...

(a lot of people didn't understand that changing a file might not work simply by doing it in the url, because unless its uploaded to a site it will never work. Hence the download then change to the new extension).

That shouldn't tell too much, i left if fairly vague.

    (You will like level 20)

exactly, and many people have never viewed source code before

I think I was on 11 when I gave up and went to bed this morning.. haha

Also, I believe IE is the best program to use for this, I had some issues while using firefox with a couple of the levels.

    140 levels...

only 20 people ever beat it.

The creator has changed some answers so if someone cheats by looking at answers on the net it will mark your IP address and that person can never win. Pretty cool.

I was doing it in Chrome with no issues. If it doesn't work in Chrome, he is using IE hacks to hide shit.
