This season with have 13 outgoing seniors with a few pro ready Juniors like Jimmy C.

We are recruiting offense pretty hard this season and looking to add speed to our dline.

We are going to be better recruiters now that fat Charles is gone to KC.

    Week 1

    Army 10 @ ND 48

Clausen tosses 3 tds and we used a clock control game to shut down Army, I do have alot of respect for that Army playbook and may give it a shot someday as I really like some of the sets and plays they were running.

It would take a certain type of talent however and we dont really have that right now.

Our D was great shutting down the ground game and Army isnt going to come back on too many teams if forced to pass alot.

We were very balanced on O and aggressive and dominant on D.

    Its the new ND way!

We win 48-10 and move to 1-0 on the young season.

Nothing new on the recruiting trail to report. The #1 qb has us #1 on his list now which is huge.

Oklahoma and Florida seem to be the players favorite schools. We hope to change that.

    BYU 24 @ ND 58

Clausen throws for 308 and two tds with two picks.

A Allen our RB goes off for a game high 271 yds and two tds, we were super simming late and must have had an injury and he took a long one to the house...we are lucky he didnt get hurt.

The D was solid but shakey on pass coverage, we had really hard time locating the ball at times and BYU took advantage but overall our D was good enough.

We travel next week to Purdue and hope to move into the top 25.

    ND is now 2-0.
