The New York Football Giants will embark on the 2015 season without Eli Manning under center for the 1st time in 10 years. 3rd year qb Ryan Nassib out of Syracuse will get a chance to run the team as he is the only qb that was with the team last year. However, veterans Jake Locker and Zac Dysert were signed in FA if he should falter. At rb Rashad Jennings, who rushed for 1100 yards last season returns. Rumors have been swirling that he will be cut because of his dramatic regression in the offseason (spd from 87-80 and acc from 89-78). David Wilson also returns but hasn't been able to stay healthy so it was unlikely he would be trusted to become the full time starter. The Giants, thinking they needed a better rb traded for C.J. Spiller. Spiller had a great 2014 campaign, rushing for over 1400 yards. FB Jerome Felton was brought in to improve the run game, 90 imp blk, 91 rbk are definitely gonna come in handy. LeRon McClain, the starter from last season has been wondering out loud to the press if his days are numbered in NY. Wrs Joe Morgan and Eddie Royal were brought in to add some experience and speed to the wr corp. With Cruz, Randle, Beckham, and Ford already in the mix, one has to wonder will there be enough balls to go around. The offensive line fought thru alot of injuries last season but once they were healthy, they play well together. LT (*I can't think of his name) was signed in free agency and immediately moved to RG to replace the departed Chris Snee. FB Dorin Dickerson, a fb last season was moved to TE to better capitalize of his varied skill set. Craig Stevens was also signed in FA.

On the defensive side of the ball this is a totally different team. Gone is the 4-3 formation that has been the Giants calling card for as long as I can remember. In order to make this transformation work alot of changes were made. Lets start at the back of the defense. SS Antrelle Rolle was not resigned and back up FS Quinten Dempsey was released. FS Michael Griffin and Dashon Goldson were signed in FA. Goldson will be moved to SS where he is more naturally fitted and his 96 hit power can be put to good use near the offensive line. Griffin, a ball hawking FS that played at Tennessee last season will be the starter and Stevie Brown will be a quality back up. At ROLB Nick Perry was acquired for a 2nd round pick from the Packers. Management was quoted saying "That was a deal we couldn't pass up". At LOLB will be FA Cornelius Washington, an end of season pick up. His back up was acquired in the C.J. Spiller trade, LOLB Ty Powell. These two guys have very similar attributes with tremendous upside. DE JPP was trade for starting MLB D. Butler. As for who will start in the middle next to him, that's undecided. The team is wondering if Jon Beason can make the transition from 4-3 to 3-4. MLB Z. Gooden is also a possibility as well as Kavell Conner. At DT Johnathan Hankins will man the middle, LE will be Kendall Reyes brought over in JPP deal. Allen Bailey will man the RE to complete the defense.
The team has a good mix of young guys and experience. If the QB position can be solidified, the sky is the limit. This year is gonna be interesting.
