Jets sweep season series with Dolphins with a 27-14 win

After a disappointing 0-2 start to the season, the Jets appeared to not be the same team that they were last season when they made it to the Super Bowl. Since week 3, the team has played much better and have erased any doubts that they are still an elite team in this league. Tonight's win over division rival Miami extended the Jets' winning streak to four games.

Leading the offense once again was rookie quarterback Steven Hardin. Hardin did not have to throw much, but he was very effective when he did. The rookie completed 8 of 11 attempts for 295 yards, three touchdowns, and no turnovers.

The Jets' defense also held the 'Phins in check. Dalton was able to throw for over 300 yards, but he also threw three costly interceptions that prevented them from ever gaining much momentum. The interceptions were made by CBs Revis, Cromartie, and Austin. Ayers, Bowles, and Thomas were also able to put pressure on Dalton to force poor throws.

The win moves New York to 4-2 on the season. They will face Arizona next week looking to move to 5-2 before their bye in week 8.
