    Off-Season Recruiting Spots Left

    Pitt started off with 1 5-star, 7 4-star, and 6 3-star recruiting spots.

    So far we've signed 4 4-stars and 1 2-star.

    Leaving 1 5-star (not going to happen), 3 4-star and 5 3-star spots.

Heh - I've got 6 guys lined up, but it'll still end up being a small class.

Couldn't bring myself to waste time on guys that didn't even have me in their top 10.

I've read the recruiting rules and I think that I have an understanding of them. However, I do want to know how they apply in my situation considering that I'm taking over a team that has handed out 10 scholarships already. Will I be able to cut the 1* FB that the CPU signed? Will I have to cut the 5* DT that the CPU signed since the league has certain stipulations about recruiting that caliber of athlete? Is there any policy about cutting players who have left the program in real life?

No policies about real life cuts. You can keep anyone they've already signed, but can't add above what we would allow. So you can keep the 5-star DT, but can't add anymore 5-stars.

As for cuts, we don't do them. So I'm afraid you're left with the previous coaches' dubious recruiting, just as you would have been if I had added you next week.

EDIT: Alright, took a look at your recruiting. You would have had 1 5-star slot, 8 4-star slots and 6 3-star slots.

    So far you've signed 2 5-stars, 4 4-stars and 4 3-stars (or less).

So you can still sign 3 4-stars and 2 3-stars (or less).
