Offensive Explosion in Knoxville, Volunteers Survive

    Big plays-a-plenty on saturday night in Tennessee that may have seen a few players emerge for early Heisman consideration against the Gators. Tyler Bray had a career game throwing 6 touchdowns and over 350 yards on only 19 pass attempts. "Our playmakers were doing a great job of getting open," said Bray, "all I had to do is just not screw it up."

    The first quarter alone saw 4 Td's including two big catches from junior wide receiver Justin Hunter. Florida put up a play of their own on their 1st snap of the day, a 70 yard TD run from RB Mike Gillislee. Both teams continued to exchange blows to the end but the Bray to Hunter connection was too much as the Volunteers prevailed 49-24.
