Wow! And he's coming back next year. SEC defensive coordinators won't be so thrilled about that!

Actually he may want to skip his junior season. I should have some receivers in contention next season as well

Since he is a true sophomore and won't have three years of college, he can't skip his junior year.

    2011 Heisman Race

QB Kellen Moore - Boise State: 27-37, 271 yds, TD
(Last Game: 27-37, 271 yds, TD) (W 38-13 vs Wyo)

    Next Game: vs Northern Illinois

Look for Moore to have another solid game as they face Northern Illinois next week at home. Northern Illinois' defense isn't the best so Moore should stay at the top of the Heisman race for another week.

QB Josh Jarboe - Troy: Bye

    Next Game: @ #20 Auburn

Jarboe has a tough game next week as they travel to the 20th ranked Auburn Tigers. I don't look for Jarboe to have such a good outing against this tough SEC squad, especially the fact that their playing in "The Jungle". If Jarboe can have a good game and manage a victory he certainly deserves to be ahead in the race.

    QB Aaron Corp - USC: 24-34, 353 yds, 3 tds; 13 car. 22 yds
    (Last Game: 24-34, 353 yds, 3 tds; 13 car., 22 yds) (W vs Minnesota 45-20)

    Next Game: Bye

Corp had a very solid game against a Big Ten opponent last week, looks like he had his way with their secondary in the Win. They have playmakers all over the field so look for Corp to continue to put up good numbers and stay up top in the Heisman race. USC has a bye next week

    QB John Brantley - Florida: 12-21, 154 yds, 2 tds, 3 ints
    (Last Game: 12-21, 154 yds, 2tds, 3 ints) (W @ Utah 31-6)

    Next Game: vs UAB

Brantley had a tough outing last week on the road against Utah, but his team was able to get the win. Brantley is backed by a tough defense so he shouldn't need to put up huge numbers every week. He has a favorable matchup next week hosting UAB in "The Swamp". Look for Brantley to have a big day in this game. He needs it to stay in the hunt.

DE Alex Okafor - Texas: 9 tackles, 6 sacks, FF
    (Last Game: 9 tackles, 6 sacks, FF) (W @ Rice 42-0)

    Next Game: vs #23 TCU

Okafor had a huge day against the inferior Owls. The defense was able to pin its ears back and get to the QB. Okafor is on a defense has playmakers at each position so offenses can't simply key on him. He came up 1 sack short of a record breaker, but his team got the win which was more important that a record. Next week his team faces a tough TCU squad, but they will be coming to the #3 ranked toughest stadium and Okafor should have another solid game.

Notable Players (Guys who are on the brink): HB Christine Michael - Texas A&M, WR Michael Tolliver - LSU, WR Ryan Broyes - Oklahoma

Yeah considering I don't manually control DE's or use aggressive D-line gameplanning. 4 of them were coverage sacks because the CPU tries to run HB screens all game lol.

    2011 Heisman Memorial Trophy Race

    QB John Chiles - Texas: 38-59, 788 yds, 10 tds. 3 ints; 34 car., 377 yds, 7 tds
    (Last Game: 12-21, 311 yds, 4 tds; 17 car, 52 yds, 1 td) (W 42-7 vs GT)

    Next Game: vs KSU

Chiles played well in the game against GT. He managed to get the offense to an early lead and got to take the 2nd half off. He has a rough road ahead of him with KSU, Oklahoma and Nebraska all coming up. 2 of those games will be at home and the other will be at a neutral stadium. If he can continue to play well like he has throughout the season, look for him to be in the running for the school's 2nd Heisman in a row.

QB Kellen Moore - Boise State: 78-107, 877 yds, 6 tds, 0 ints
    (Last Game: 29-36, 424 yds, 3 tds) (W 31-14 vs BGSU)

    Next Game: LA Tech

Moore had a great game in his team's win. He went over 400 yards passing which is very impressive. With the imergence of Chiles, he slide down a spot in the Heisman ranking but if he continues to put up those kinds of numbers he will definitely be in the running. He will likely have another big game as his team travels to Louisiana, who gives up alot of yards in the air.

WR David Gilreath - Wisconsin: 37 recs., 689 yds, 6 tds
    (Last Game: 12 recs, 277 yds, 2 tds) (W 52-0 vs FCS E)

    Next Game: Bye

Gilreath had a monster game last week with 277 yards of receiving. He did do it against a FCS squad which were clearly overmatched, but still impressive. The Badgers will be getting into the thick of their schedule soon, so Gilreath will need to continue his play for his team. It will be alot tougher to have these kind of games in November and December against Big Ten opponenets.

WR Josh Jarboe - Troy: 11 recs., 133 yds, 3 tds
(Last Game: 5 recs., 59 yds, td) (W 23-17 vs Pitt)

    Next Game: vs Western Kentucky

Jarboe had a solid game on the road against Pitt. He managed to score a td and got his team the huge win. Other than that I don't see why he is still in the running for the Heisman with his season numbers low as they are. There are other talented receivers who are putting up numbers and are just getting recognition. Jarboe will have have a chance to put up good numbers next week as his team goes up against Western Kentucky

WR Terrance Tolliver - LSU: 19 recs., 452 yds, 3 tds
    (Last Game: 7 recs., 186 yds, 2 tds) (W @ WVU 31-20)

    Next Game: vs Miss. St

Tolliver continues his blitz as he puts together another solid game against WVU last week. He has been consistent all season and is leading his team to victories. He goes up against an SEC foe this week in Mississippi State, so this game will test if he's ready to run with his division foes. The Bulldogs may be overmatched with a receiver of his talent and size, so it will remain to be seen if he can continue his production like he has. Look for him to stay in Heisman talks throughout the season.

Notable Players (Guys who are on the brink): WR Anthony Boyles - Washington, WR Ansel Ponder - Western Michigan, QB Curt Phillips - Wisconsin, HB David Oku - Tennessee

Man I'm pulling for him, outside the players of my own team. He's put up solid numbers considering the gaunlet of tough user games you are going through.
