  2. Oh God, not another worthless A. Boone at tackle.
I'm of course referring to the over-hyped career of one of my own Buckeyes

McKnight would only add to our linebacking core we already have. He'd look good in Garnet and Gold.

You'll only be able to choose one of them, so choose wisely!

    I know right?

My question is, If I go after 1-4 real hard how am I going to stop once I get 1 commited, if I do? If it happens by mistake will there be any penalty for that other than having to cut them?

Also, when does the "Players may "earn" the right to recruit additional players by playing well and just being good sports" come into play? Is that starting Season 2?

Yes, recruiting bonuses will come into play next year.

If you over-recruit, here's what will happen:

    1. You will have to cut that player, with no replacement player allowed. So you'll not only lose the guy, but the scholarship space he took up.

    2. You will lose a scholarship the next year equal to the caliber of the guy you over-signed. So if you sign 2 5-stars, you'll lose a 5-star spot the next year.

    3. It will count as a rule violation, so you won't get that additional 4-star recruit the next year.

There is no way this should ever happen. You should play it safe by never scheduling two of them for visits on the same day.

Same rules apply if you sign a guy over the speed limit. Pay attention to what you're doing out there, folks.

Ok, I will just have to see how it works. I am worried that I'll somehow get caught up in trying to get at least one 5 star guy that I'll screw up get more. Same can be said with 4 Star as well.

But, this is my first time doing it this way. I'll have to be careful I'm sure.

Yeah you will be fine man -- and like Razcal said, just offer one at a time. Even if you don't have a scholarship out to them you can still stay in the hunt, just make sure you still spend some time on them. You will see that it isn't so bad. Good luck!

Good stuff Raz, I think I moved to number one on the SS and RB for five star.

I am going to have to make a decision soon. Right now I am leaning SS but I could always lose out on him and be stuck with nothing to show for my five star alotment.

I imagine that you'll be safe as long as you don't schedule them both for the same visit.

I wonder if they will allow you to withdraw scholarship offers in NCAA 10. It sucks when you have to remove a player then re-add them.
