Are we committed to a playbook for the whole season once we pick one?

Is there a good argument one way or another?

I say we don't because I will probably change my playbook at least 2 different times.

Last season, I went from Air Force to Run Heavy...then when Darrell Scott got hurt for most the season I went to the spread and used my backup quarterback

No argument either way. I just wanted to be clear of the rules.

You can run with whatever you want. It would be nice to keep it consistent enough so your human opponents have some expectation.

I'll be starting out with the Oregon offense. I hated the way it played in 09 and I haven't used it more than a couple of times against the CPU in 10, so that may change.

I will be using 3-4 defense.

I believe I will be running the UNC offense and 3-3-5. Subject to change.

Offense - most likely USC's playbook though I don't know what my recruiting class is going to look like so I will update this once I know for sure.

Defense - most likely the 3-4 defense though, again, it really depends on what my recruiting class looks like and who is still around after this season.

I will be using Texas Tech's playbook and I will be running a 4-3/4-2-5 depending on the opponent.

I'll be using Air Force on offense and the good ol' 4-3 on defense next season. Going to try to get my 6'4 220lb fast QB running the triple option.

Oh boy that sounds fun. Air Force's playbook is great but be wary of people playing the 4-2-5 or 3-3-5 defenses. They'll totally destroy the normal triple option stuff.

Ohio State will be running the option-spread this year also.
