    Colts Signings - Week 1

    DT Jason Jones
    27 yrs
    89 ovr
    5 yr $30 mil

Our biggest signing. The Colts D is switching back to the 4-3 and he will be a key piece. Pairing him with Redding in the middle and Freeney and Mathis on the edge gives us one of the best D-lines in the league.

    OLB Brad Jones
    27 yrs
    77 ovr
    4 yr $6.72 mil

With Connor taking one OLB spot, We brought in Jones to compete for the other OLB. He is a solid tackler with good athleticism. We will just need to work on his coverage some.

    OLB Rennie Curran
    24 yrs
    73 ovr
    1 yr 800k

A solid depth player. Rennie can will be out top back up in case any of our LBs go down.

    Week 2

    HB Mike Goodson
    26 yrs
    76 ovr
    4 yr 4.6 mil

A young speedy back from Texas A&M. We didn't re-sign Woodhead in the offseason, so Goodson will be our quick change of pace and big play back to go in tandem with Brown. This signing frees up the 2nd or 3rd rounder we were thinking of using on a HB and frees it up for another position of need.

    MLB Ashlee Palmer
    27 years old
    76 ovr

Palmer will start at MLB, replacing Tyrone McKenzie, who was let go in the offseason

    Danny Amendola
    27 years old
    78 ovr
    4 yr/6M

Amendola will take over in the slot receiver spot, filling a void in the Vikings WR corps

    WR Deonte Thompson
    24 years old
    73 ovr
    2 yr/1.4M

Thompson adds a speedy player on the WR corps and will help take some pressure off Percy Harvin in the return game

    FB Chris Cooley
    31 years old
    80 ovr
    2yr/2.3M

Cooley replaces the void left by former H-back Jimmy Kleinsasser

    SS Pat Chung
    26 years old
    82 ovr
    4yr/13.2M

The prize of this FA period for the Vikes, Chung looks to have a huge impact on an ailing secondary.

    HB LeGarrette Blount
    26 Years Old
    81 ovr
    3yr/6.6M

The Patriots want to get more balanced with a Power Run game to go with their passing game. Blount should add that to the offense.

    WR Brian Hartline
    26 Years Old
    77 ovr
    4yr/5.6M

Brian Hartline will fill the Slot WR as the Patriots are looking to get younger at that position.

    Clint Sintim
    27 Years Old
    71 ovr
    1yr/650

Sintim will bring more depth and speed to the defense.

    Antoine Cason
    27 Years Old
    84 ovr
    5yr/28.5M

Cason was the most notable signing for the Patriots. With one of the worst defenses in the NFL, he should be a nice compliment opposite Devin McCourty.

Lions blew their wad, so to speak. The Ford's had enough of losing and finally broke out the checkbook.

Let's see Daddy's new toys. shall we? :

Center- Jeff Faine 32 yrs old
    89 OVR

The Lions released all but 1 backup lineman. And let their starting center hit free agency at the end of the season. This was a MUST pick up. Luckily my bid held up.

RE - Michael Johnson 26 yrs old
    85 OVR

Only 4 years in the league, but making noise already at the defensive end position. This young man will replace Cliff Avril. He has big shoes to fill.

LOLB- Jonathan Casillas 26 yrs old
    72 OVR

A fellow Wisconsin alumn, young and rough around the edges. But you can't teach 87 SPD. The rest will come with time on the field.

CB - Mike Jenkins 28 yrs old
    82 OVR

The Lions main mission was to go out and grab some top level players for their secondary. Jenkins was a MUST to compliment Chris Houston.

CB- Jason McCourty 26 yrs old
    80 OVR

The third head of "The Beast"! With 3 overall 80+ starting corners, the Lions may have put together the best secondary in the league. Not one of the 6 DBs on the Lions rosters has less than 90 speed, and the first four could easily start for any team in the NFL.

CB -Alphonso Smith 27 yrs old
    77 OVR

The "Ringo" of the bunch, but many slept on this young stud. 82 MCV 92 JMP, 74 CTH, 90 SPD and 78 AWR? Ya, I'll take that....anyday. That makes 4 starting corners with high awareness, press and cover skills.

Coming for you Rodgers...discount double check this.

SS - Amari Spievey 25 yrs old
    79 OVR

The only weak link in the chain (FS Delmas is 87 OVR). Spievey returns to Detroit after testing the market, and finding no takers. He crawls back home but finds he finally has some real help.

It's gonna be a good year!

    49ers add

    WR Brandon LaFell
    26 yrs
    79 ovr
    4 yrs/ 4 mil

Will battle for #2 WR spot with Manningham

    WR David Nelson
    26 yrs
    76 ovr
    2 yrs/ 1.4 mil

Added depth to the WR spot

    C Eric Cook
    26 yrs
    80 ovr
    3 yrs/ 2.85 mil

Youth Movement at Oline will be starting C for 9ers

    RG Brandon Brooks
    24 yrs
    72 ovr
    2 yrs/ 1.1 mil

Will be starting RG, 9ers hoping he will develope into a quality O lineman

    DT Sammie Hill
    26 yrs
    82 Ovr
    4 yrs/ 7.6 mil

With the departure of Sopuaga the 9ers went with youth and look to Hill to develope into a quality D line anchor

9ers have 17.73 mil cap space remaining. Novare Bowman, Dante Whitner, Parris Haralson and Troy Brown will be the focus of negotiations this coming season. 9ers want to lock down these young future defensive stars.

Who signed DRC? If I could have grabbed him, Jenkins and McCourty- my free agency would be an "A+". As is, I'd give it an "B+".

The DRC & K. Phillips battle bids was interesting to watch. Colts & Pats got some steals adding to deep teams.

    Ravens add:

    FB - A. Hall
The former Marine will go to battle this year for the Ravens replacing star FB V. Leach. Hall is much more athletic, and at a much cheaper price. Ravens ran a lot of single back formations a Leach couldn't get on the field.

    RB - V. Ballard
A tough change of pace back. Will see minimal work but adds depth and short yardage option.

    WR - J. Knox
Knox will battle for the #2 spot adding a signficant increase in speed and big play ability, as Torrey couldn't do it on his lonely last year.

    WR - B. Tate
Tate will see work in 4-5 wide sets and is solid option in the event of injury. As Boldin, Smith and Jones all missed time last year.

    WR - K. Ogletree
Will be special teams guy taking the place of J. Jones. Jones roster spot will be in jeopardy once he's healthy.

    C - B. Jones
Signed to start after being a back up last year in Houston. Will replace veteran J. Birk of 16 years.

    C - P. Blake
Signed to add depth at position, played with Ravens last year.

    MLB - J. Belcher
With the retirement of Ray Lewis the MLB position is wide open with Jovan looking like pre season #1

    CB - T. Porter
Will play Nickle corner this year, huge upgrade over the over achieving A. Dennard.

Safeties - Kurt Coleman, Will Hill.
With the retirement of Ed Reed and Bernard Pollard losing his job mid way through last season holes needed to be filled. Both will compete in preseason for #1 job.

DT - Patt Sims & Kyle Love
SEC boys used to physical play, will rotate along the defensive line. Adding strength and speed upgrades over Ian Kitchen, and Jean-Baptise both released at seasons end.

    WR-
    Mike Sims-walker 76 1yr 950k
    Brandon Gibson 74 2yr 1.4M
They will fight it out for the 3rd spot that was vacated by Kevin "haha jerry you stupid ass kept me over amedola" ogletree. Gibson comes over from the Rams following coach bbj and has to be the favorite for the spot.

    OL
    C Dominic Raiola 77 4yrs 7.6M
    RG Brandon Moore 84 3yrs 5.4M
would have liked to get some other lineman, but with limited spending came away with some decent starters. the Only knock is age, but i need all the help i can get.

    CB
    Zach Bowman 76 3yrs 3.0M
with the cpu resigning the wrong player we needed to address the cb. Bowman will be a good dime back when he learns the system.
