Honestly this would be best to wait for everyone to be online. I've done it with my buddies in the past and you get a bunch of offers all spread out. So for IBC, cal and penn at won't be the only 2 offers he gets throughout the entire process and you can only make em accept one or stay with his current team

Yeah because the further you progress, the more spots potentially open. Including late firings. Just a heads up. So if you already made IBC stay put, he will no longer get any offers.

Either way he will not get to accept a new offer whether he stays or not, he won't get a chance to come back up in the carousel.

So he basically has the choices of either staying, going to Penn St or going to Cal.

Well the thing is, it will have a few lined up, and has potential teams wanting Coach A and show some other candidates. As soon as the coach on the clock reacts, then the team will either move to a new user or sign a CPU and the next team will come up. So it will be a process to go through teams until you find a suitor you want to go to. That's why if IBC would decline a Penn St, Coach Moda would be offered since it shows him next in line. So the best thing would be to wait until all coaches are online

Look, unless you wanna dictate him staying at FIU or going to Penn St., then you can't do anything right now. Those are your only options as commish. There will be more options as we progress through. So waiting is the best option

Well it's first come first serve I thought. Maybe I'm not understanding here (since I've always been on the commish side of things) but he is Penn St and Cals first choices by the looks of it.

Masler and @legendrips I guess it's hard for me to articulate here. If you're on Xbox live I can possibly explain better on a live party

    Ok...he explained it to me.

If you have ever played an Offliner it works exactly the same for the coach who is currently on the clock. This is essentially how it works:

    • There will be a number of offers that each coach will receive that the commish cannot see
    • Each coach will have the right to Accept, Decline or Stay with Current Contract
    • His time on the Carousel will end once he makes a decision
    Example..

IrishBearcat decides to decline Penn State, they will continue to look for a coach (most likely the new user to receive the offer would be Marc Boda since he is next in line). He then will most likely receive the offer from Cal. Say he declines that offer as well, Cal will now continue to look for a coach (most likely CPU Coach Rod Cary from NIU since he is next in line). If he does receive any other offers it will continue this way until he decides. If CPU Coach Rod Cary accepts the Cal job, then Cal would not show up for the #3 guy in line (Washington St) but NIU could. Same as for IBC and Marc Boda should they leave, their now vacant jobs will probably pop up for a few but if both of them pass up Penn State then the OC from SJSU is #3 in line

So yes, it is best to let each coach select what he wants to do since the commish would only be able to say Yes or No to Penn State.
