    Ohio State FB transfers

seems a little late to transfer when you would have been a big blocking back for the offense

Long-rumored to be a potential transfer candidate, Jermil Martin appears to have indeed played his last down as a member of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Head coach Jim Tressel confirmed Tuesday afternoon at the Big Ten's media days that the fullback has every intention of transferring. The opportunity for more playing time -- plus apparently his desire to be a tailback -- led Martin to make the transfer decision.

"Jermil is a little bit caught in between being a fullback and a tailback," Tressel said according to the Columbus Dispatch, "and we've got a pretty good group both places, so that makes it more difficult."

Tressel said Martin will finish his summer-school obligations before officially transferring.

Ohio State is loaded with talent at the running back position, so Tressel told the Dispatch that he understands why a player in Martin's shoes would decide to leave for a place where he could potentially play sooner rather than later.

"Oh absolutely, it's real," he said. "And I always ask guys this: Only you can assign the importance of things. What's most important to you _ being at Ohio State, graduating from Ohio State, or having a chance to play? Neither is bad. If you tell me having a chance to play, I understand."

Martin finishes his OSU career with 11 carries for 84 yards and a touchdown.

Okay, I will....(dont forget about switching the 2 Corey Browns lol)

3 things I am thing about the most:

    1. Leaving Duron on the team? It's assumed he'll come back (he just got 3.5 GPA at the CC he is at), so I guess users can redshirt him and have him in yr 2. That is realistic..

    2. Changing one of the Created players to SR WR Grant Schwartz. He played S.T. ALL HIS CAREER and now he is battling Fields for the 4th WR spot. Do we really want to create a dude for 1 year?

3.Creating 5* LT/RT Andrew Norwell. They say he could be in the rotation because he's a nasty player....O well. I'll let you know closer to the ending of camp/start of the season...

I'm not Buckeye fan and you seem to know your stuff pretty good but for #3. I would create Andrew Norwell. Because even if he dont work into the rotation some this season he will still most likely become a starter down the road so I would create him to have him for future seasons if not anything else!!
