    Players Leaving:

Backup quarterback Joe Bauserman has chosen to transfer to Mississippi State. Bauserman was not content sitting behind Terrell Pryor for his college career so he chose a school where he has an opportunity to start.

Coach Bravejaf stated: "We are sad to see Joe go, but understand his decision to transfer. I wish him the best during his time at Mississippi State."

Ohio State expects 5-star recruit (insert name later) to fill in as 2nd string QB behind Pryor. The team also has redshirt freshman Kenny Guiton available at that position.

    Players Visiting in Week 3

Jeff Price DE #14 Perrysburg, OH
Antuwaun Jackson K #5 Sunbury, PA
Nate Hardy P #11 Jefferson, VA

    Top Recruits of this class
Jason Long HB #5 Sturgis, MI
    6'0'' 207
    + Good speed (B+)
    + Good agility (B-)
    - Awareness (D-)
    - Catching (D)

2010 Outlook - With Herron, Saine, and Berry returning Long will be redshirted. This will give him time to learn the playbook and bulk up.

2011 and beyond - Long needs to improve his hands or he will not be useful on passing plays. At this time he looks to be a backup HB with little star potential.

Matt Franklin QB #1 Eastlake, OH
    6'2'' 230
    + Throwing power (B+)
    + Throwing accuracy (B)
    - Awareness (D-)
    - Ball carry (D-)

2010 Outlook - With Bauserman's transfer Franklin may have to step in behind Pryor. His low awareness and proneness to fumbles make him a risky play.

2011 and beyond - Franklin will need to improve dramatically this season to see field as starter in 2011, assuming Pryor leaves early for NFL.

Daniel Davis G #3 Perrysburg, OH

    + Pass Block (B+)
    + Awareness (B)
    - Stamina (D+)
    - Injury (C)

2010 Outlook - It is unclear whether he will be on the active roster or sit out a year to improve his conditioning.

2011 - He has intangibles to be a solid rotation member, if he can stay on the field. Needs to improve durability and stamina to become a full time player.
