The Cowboys came into todays game against the Iowa State Cyclones as the heavy favorite. After a slow first quarter, the Cowboys defense and offense came alive as they dominated the rest of the game.

    Players of the game:
    Brandon Weeden- 14/24 316 yards 2 td's
Justin Blackmon- 7 rec 199 yards (90 yards came off a long half ending hail marry pass) 2 td's
    Herschel Sims- 9 att 77 yards 2 td's
Caleb Lavey- 7 tackles (4 solo) 1 int 1 td

In recruiting news, the Cowboys have signed the last person in this years class. Lets take a look at the 2011 class!

**** HB Robert Banks- He should jump in the lineup and compete for a starting job
*** TE Phillip Bray- He should help out the passing game
**** ATH Matt Parker- He will be converted to either a Wr, CB, or Saftey
*** FS Jon Ingram- He will compete for a starting job
*** G Preston Cummings- He will probably be red shirted his freshman year but will be competing for a starting job in a year or two
**** OLB George Baker- Baker will start at OLB his freshman year
*** C Greg Gates- He will fill a huge hole at C
**** DE Jacob Johnson- Jacobson will most likely be starting at DE his freshman year. Look for him to make an impact
*** HB George Inman- He will be a nice backup and will compete for return duties
*** C Ben Williams- He will compete with Gates to start at center next year
