The Ok State cowboys came into this game expecting a fight. And boy did they get one...

After scoring a field goal to start the game, Ok State's offense and defense went into a slump. The offense couldnt get past the 50, and the D was being tortured by the speedy mizzou recievers. So at the start of the 2nd half coach Jag made a chang in the defense they were running. "At first we were running just out of the nickle. But to start the 2nd half we switched to a 1-5-5 D. This let us have speedier guys on the field to keep up with the Mizzou recievers, and it let us desquise our scheme so you didnt know where the blitz was coming from." Said Jag after the game. And boy did it work. In the 2nd half Mizzou scored only 3 points and let up 3 or 4 sacks.

In the third quarter, Ok State was trying to get on the board, but they just couldnt break through. Well with :57 seconds left in the third quarter, Weeden connected with Blackmon on the fade and he broke a tackle and took it in for a 27 yard td pass which started the ralley.

Ok State would not score again untill there was just 2:00 left in the game. Weeden fooled the Mizzou D on a nice play-action and he chucked it up to Anyiam who caught it and took it in for a 53 yard td pass. After a great stop by the Ok State D, Weeden and the cowboys had the ball with just under a minute left to play. Weeden orchestrated a beautiful drive and with :15 seconds left he connected with the TE Horton for a 6 yard pass (The xp was good) to force overtime!

In OT, Ok State got the ball first. They drove the field with ease and put the ball in the endzone on a 2 yard run by Randle. Then Mizzou got the ball, and on 2nd and 10, their qb put up a terrible pass and it was picked off by Brodrick Brown who took it out a few yards then went out of bounds to finish off the game.

"This was a huge win for us. It should give us a lot of momentum going foward." Brandon Weeden told reporters.

Next week the Cowboys will travel to Waco, Tx to take on the Baylor Bears. It should be a good one!

    Players of the game:

    Brandon Weeden: 24/50 312 yards 3 td's 1int
Ok State Defense: 7 sacks, 1int, 187 yards allowed. 3 2nd half points allowed
