Week 3 Oklahoma 16 Ole Miss 7 Oklahoma is coming off of a hard loss against USC. The game could have gone either way, but turnovers late in the 4th quarter by Oklahoma helped solidify USC's win. This week the Sooners took on Ole Miss. Sophomore Drew Allen had a solid game throwing for 255 yards 1 TD 1 Int which helped Oklahoma win in an what coach uscsux called "an ugly game." Coach said, "We couldn't hold on to the ball and fortunately neither could Ole Miss. We can't rely on our defense as much." Early in the second quarter Oklahoma was down 7-0 when J. Fleming intercepted the ball on the goal line and returned it for a 100 yard interception! Oklahoma was then tied at 7. Oklahoma's offense would then score a touchdown late in the second quarter before half with 30 seconds left. The game was a battle until early in the 4th quarter Oklahoma's P. Ohara punted the ball 49 yards and the ball was downed on the 1 yard line! N. Stanly of Oklahoma would sack the quarterback and that led to a safety putting Oklahoma up 16-7. Ole Miss was never able to put together a drive to score and the game ended Oklahoma 16 Ole Miss 7. Oklahoma's coach was happy about the win but very upset about how his offense performed turning the ball over 3 times.
