Jones was almost perfect with 10/12 with 231 yards and 2 TDs as he lead his team to a 45 to 3 first half lead.

The Okie backups played the entire second half.

Week 2: #14 Oklahoma vs #21 Florida State University

    OK 55 - FSU 24
This picture says it all.(Note the FSU defender who is pouting in the endzone after giving up a TD is named Moody)

Florida State was dominated all game on defense.

Again Broyles scores a long TD on the first play of the game with a 69 yard kickoff return.

Jones was very good throwing for 10/12 with 178 yards and 2 tds in only one half of play. Oklahoma once again protects their starters by benching them in the second half after getting a big lead.

    Oklahoma 54 - Ohio State 52

This game was insane. Ohio State had a ferocious pass rush sacking Landry Jones 7 times while the bump coverage threw off the timing of the receivers.

Late in the 4th quarter trailing by 14 Oklahoma QB Landry Jones was sacked on back to back plays to put them 4th and 25. On 4th down he went deep his star receiver Ryan Broyles in single coverage. Broyles caught the pass over the safety and took it 65 yards for a touch down. Oklahoma 17 - Ohio State 24.

Ohio State gets stuffed while running the clock and Pryor attempts to go to the air to get the 3rd down needed to put the game away. Interception.

With the ball now near the redzone Oklahoma works their way into the end zone with little time on the clock. We're going to overtime.

Ohio State nearly had Oklahoma stopped in their first overtime possession with multiple sacks putting them at 4th and long. Landry Jones has no one open and just throws it up into double coverage. Somehow Brandon Caleb is able to come down with the ball with two defenders hanging all over him and Oklahoma gets into the end zone.

Both teams trade scores in overtime. Ohio State repeatedly scoring in one play while Oklahoma takes long grinding drives to get in. Each team completing their 2 pt conversions with ease. Finally in the 4th overtime after Ohio State had a big play to get into the end zone Pryor hits the tight end on a drag and barely gets tackled at the 1 yard line. Game over 54-52.

This game was crazy and I got really really lucky to complete a couple 4th down plays to stay in it and eventually win it.

    Oklahoma 42 - Wiscon 28

This game was alot closer than the final score makes it look.

Wisconsin tied it with a touchdown in the 4th. Oklahoma answered with a touchdown and then was able to get a stop against Wisconsin's offense. Looking to run the clock with a 1 touchdown lead Murray busted his longest run of the season with a 70 yard run to put the game away.

    Oklahoma 35 - Texas 34

    Oklahoma wins another nail biter!

Both teams offenses really came alive in the 4th quarter. Trading scores. Oklahoma is able to complete a long pass to big Dejaun Miller to set up the go ahead touchdown. At this point a few yards from the end zone, Oklahoma's coach made an almost fatal mistake with clock management as he did not realize Texas had used all of their timeouts and he could have run the clock down and kicked a game winning field goal. Oklahoma has to go for 2 pts to make it a 7 point lead and gets the 2pt conversion.

Texas goes to their 2 minute drill offense and gets into the end zone for the potential game tying touch down with 30 seconds remaining. Coach Whygod decides to go for the win RIGHT NOW rather than go to overtime. They go for 2 with a run play and get stuffed. Oklahoma is ahead 35 - 34.

Texas kicks an onsides kick and RECOVERS IT.

They make 2 passes down field and throw the ball away with 4 seconds left on the clock. They come out in field goal formation and Oklahoma uses their last timeout to ice the kicker.

The Texas kicker misses the 58 yard field goal short and Oklahoma comes away with the win.
