    Ole Miss Game Summaries.

    Ole Miss vs. Tulane

Wow nothing like #17 Ole Miss expected, going in to the Superdome. Ole Miss started the scoring with a 53 yard field goal in the first quarter. Tulane would answer with a passing TD with 1:46 left in the first, but missed the XP.

Ole Miss then booted a 39 yard field goal to start the 2nd quarter. The teams then would battle with both defenses winning in the 2nd. With 1:20 left on the clock Ole Miss got the ball on their 30 and began marching. With 6 seconds left, Ole Miss figured they had time to launch one deep. Tulane jammed Ole Miss' receivers at the line, causing time to run out. However they did not account for 6'3 220 lb. Patrick Patterson's speed. He burnt the Tulane DB for a 39 yard reception in the back of the endzone with no time on the clock.

Ole Miss would add a FG in the third and Tulane another TD. 16-13 Ole Miss.

The 4th Quarter was all Ole Miss as Darius Barksdale had a 21 yard TD run and Ole Miss kicked two more FG's.

Also Jevan was horrible cause he was sacked 5 times and knocked down countless others. My lowest rated O-Lineman is an 87 too haha...

Lionel Breaux also blocked a FG attempt by Tulane in the first quarter.

    Kicking
    D. Curry 5/5 on FG attempts long of 53. 2/2 on XP.

Player of the game is D. Curry.
