After a dismal 2 - 10 season and a 6th place finish in the SEC West in 2011, new head coach John Basilone and the Ole Miss Rebels look to rebuild. Unfortunately, it's gonna be a tough road with four top 10 in-conference teams on the schedule.
Coach Basilone, in his first year as head coach at the collegiate level, will be instituting a pro-style led by sophomore QB Bo Wallace, junior RB Jeff Scott, and sophomore WR Donte Moncrief. The Rebels will also be running a 4-3 defense anchored by sophomore DE CJ Johnson, redshirt-senior DE Jason Jones, and junior MLB Mike Marry.
It's going to be a huge challenge, but look for Ole Miss to contend with Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas for a spot in the SEC title game. An 8 - 4 record and a bowl berth will not be out of the question in 2012.

Scott is a great RB, you should be able to do plenty with him carrying the ball
