It's criminal that they let these beach volleyball players wear pants and long-sleeve shirts. Worst sports rule change ever.

Sure, why not. Some of our members have office jobs and NBC is streaming their coverage.

They blocked it at work but I feel like I'm the only person in America who just has no interest in the Olympics.

I just enjoy the competition. Ive always loved volleyball both as a sport and a spectator sport. I don't give two craps for all the gymnastics, but I love the track, volleyball, and some of the swimming.

USA is down to that Eastern European basketball powerhouse Lithuania with 6 min left. But they'd beat the Dream Team.

I gotta say Water Polo is one of the most awful sports I've ever watched. It's like basketball/soccer but they're in water so they move super slow and can't resemble any formation - it just looks like random people treading water until the shot clock is about to run out and they chuck it at the goalie. /end water polo rant.

I think water polo is the hardest sport there is. Treading/swimming in a 15-foot deep pool and trying to play offense/defense while somebody else is trying to drown you. But yeah, it gets boring to watch pretty quickly.

Lithuania v USA was very entertaining. I could watch beach volleyball for hours. Can't believe Dalhauser and Rogers were eliminated today. T&F finals are pretty fun to watch.

That was the first set that May/Walsh have ever lost in Olympic play, but they won that match and they won today. Both American teams are in the final 8, and the other men's team (Rosenthal/Gibbs) are in the men's final 8. They looked really good today too (no homo).

Dalhausser and Rogers were beaten by the worst seeded team in the quarterfinals. Shameful.
